furlowredneck Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 I am no computer genius, I have tried google and can't find a answer, I've tried a few of those tricks but still didn't help. After a CTD I go back and look into my Event Viewer and find this: - <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> - <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2020-03-24T08:26:22.935598600Z" /> <EventRecordID>11831</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>DESKTOP-0C23R3O</Computer> <Security /> </System> - <EventData> <Data>Fallout4.exe</Data> <Data>1.10.163.0</Data> <Data>5ddc40fa</Data> <Data>MSVCR110.dll</Data> <Data>11.0.51106.1</Data> <Data>5098826e</Data> <Data>c0000409</Data> <Data>000000000006d4e3</Data> <Data>1224</Data> <Data>01d601b4cbf6c597</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout4.exe</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\MSVCR110.dll</Data> <Data>97952aae-4ae7-4ba2-8b48-29dc1685df13</Data> <Data /> <Data /> </EventData> </Event> Can someone that is a lot smarter than me please try to explain what this is? And what this means? Is it telling me in computer language that I have a mod installed incorrectly or my load order is not proper?

Going by CTD's in Skyrim, the first question would be what you were doing before the CTD? Does it always seem to be at the same point? Or encountering the same type of NPC/Mob or any sort of pattern like that? If so then it points to a bad mesh, something you may have installed. If it random occurs then that points to a memory issue, which I thought, in a 64bit game, would be a rarer occurence than say 32bit Skyrim LE. I would think that if MSVCR110.dll was the issue you would be getting a runtime error or the like, before you even got into game. But I am not computer expert either, just going on past experience.
furlowredneck Posted March 24, 2020 Author Posted March 24, 2020 Everytime I deploy my sleeping bag and sleep it CTD. as soon as my player wakes up. Plus if I run around sanctuary in 3rd person for a n extended amount of time it also CTD. I did a memory check on my computer and it reported no errors. I did upgrade my memory last week. This game I'm in is a new game since the update. I may have to do the one mod at a time.

That might sound dumb but that sort of thing is a mod in Skyrim so thought I would check. If it's not a mod then do you have the same issue sleeping anywhere else? Also, when I said memory issue I didn't mean your RAM was faulty I meant the game just ran out of it. A common issue with 32bit Skyrim (LE, Oldrim whatever you want to call it) but I don't think you would see this issue in 64bit game (AFAIK FO4 is 64bit?) but the running around an area in 3rd person (I take it Sanctuary is a major settlement?) causing it to happen does sound like the game has run out of vram or something like that. I was sort of hoping someone would step in and confirm/correct me on that and offer you some help... Alas
furlowredneck Posted March 27, 2020 Author Posted March 27, 2020 I figured the sleeping bag part out, yes it's a mod, I'm thinking it's part of advanced needs 2. Another mod was causing that issue. Can't remember which one at the moment. I'm back to playing Skyrim again after the failed efforts of finding the reason why my game is ctd running through sanctuary in 3rd person. Plus, I fix one CTD issue and another one comes along. I'm going to take a break from FO4 for a few days and probably start all over from scratch.
