japple Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 For some reason in-game the options to pick animations are still there, but when I click them nothing happens. Also when I press the settings button the game just pauses and nothing happens. Some of the options like watch porn and exhibition actions still work and all the cc is there but the animations don’t work. I also have basemental drugs downloaded and the options don’t appear in social menus but the animations still work, I can still grow weed and get drugs from build mode. I do use a Cracked version of the game on a Mac with all the expansion packs downloaded (updated to 1.61.15.1020). Any ideas?
Crashdown117 Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Idea #1: Don't use a cracked game, because you never know for sure, if cracking hasn't had any side effects. Idea #2: Update all your mods and the game to their latest versions. Idea #3: Regarding Basemental (and also the game itself), check whether your system actually supports the standard version of TS4. On Windows you need to have a 64-bit system (and some other specs), on Mac there's something called "Metal" - however, I don't know anything about Mac systems, so I can't tell you more than what I read in the patch notes quite some time ago. If your computer can't run regular TS4, switch to Legacy Edition and say goodbye to BMD, as it doesn't run on Legacy (good news: WW does).

I used to have the actual sims 4 downloaded running all the same mods/cc as it is now and it worked perfectly fine, I just downloaded the crack to get the expansion packs. All mods and the game have the latest updates
