DrewRowwe24 Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 I have been trying to get the update to work for days now. Every time I open my Sims game it gives me a fatal error warning that states I have two versions of the Wicked Whims mod installed despite the fact that I deleted the old version. I have gone through and deleted all of my mods for both the 64 bit and Legacy folders. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I have searched my entire computer making sure i don’t have the old version downloaded anywhere and it says there is nothing on the computer. Please help! how do i fix this?
Oops19 Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 Rename the Mods folder, create a new empty one and start a fresh game. WW shouldn't work, so you renamed the right WW folder. Use the 50/50 method to copy existing files and folders. Usually you installed a household with CC containing WW. I downloaded a housrhold with 600 MB of Alf-Si's HQ mod. These things happen if authors do not double check the embedded CC. Without a team to test releases the overall quality is still very good.
