Help with replacing werewolf mesh

Hi. I wanted my LaFemmeLycana werewolf (from Moonlight tale mod) to have scholongs, but not any. I wanted to use the abc scholongs so I can use its animations,

I didn't know how exactly so I went to the mesh files of both mods and then replaced abc body with LaFemmeLycana.

So now I have everything from abc but the werewolf's body is from LaFemmeLycana. I changed the texture directories in the mesh files and directed them to where I wanted them.

I replaced the file that I created with "Werewolf_LaFemmeLycana_Glow_0.nif" and "Werewolf_LaFemmeLycana_Glow_1.nif". It looks exactly as I want it in Bodyslide outfit studio. But when I go in game It looks wrong.

In game the mesh is absolutely fine but the texture is black and oily. The head is fine tho.

I am a total noob so feel free to criticize me.  Can you guys tell me how to fix this issue or point me to an alternative way of achieving what I want.

Please tell what more information you may need.

turn off vertex colors in the texture's flags.

Thanks for the response. Where would I do that? in the nifskope?

yes:

NiTriShape/BSLightingShaderProperty

vertex colors will be in "Shader Flags 2"

edit: your in the wrong spot (well sort of, you can add vertex colors if you want but i would strongly suggest not doing that)

(also you should go into the options and setup the resources so you can see the textures in the program)

Thanks again, but vertex colors are off. I even checked head mesh.

i don't see any problems, are you sure the file paths are right?

The path to textures are right. I double checked. This is what I get in game

enb 2020_02_10 22_15_06_64.bmp.

I am using moonlight Tales and in the menu I choose the glowing eye option which is the one I want and is the mesh I modified.

Do you see the blue color on her hand and back. That color changes every time I change the eye glow option. For example in the picture above I was using the the glowing blue eye color.

it sounds like the armor addon/s from that mod are using the "alternative texture" system.

you must have changed the NiTriShape ordering or something when you edited the mesh, so you will need to load the esp into the CreationKit so you can find and update/edit the alternative textures.

Pretty sure even if I try what you say I will mess up something else, so I better not touch it.

Do you know of a way that I can give my werewolf a schooling in game. For example I have equipable sos for my nord character.
