Hi, I am running TrueVision ENB and have tried to add Mcflys dof settings into my setup and I just cant get it to work, all I want is to manually change the dof settings to make cool screenshots, I dont play with dof so just toggle it off afterwards. Below are my attempts...

I have replaced files from the ENB to make sure d3d9 is the newest version

I read somewhere that renaming enbeffectsprepass to enbdepthoffield would work, it doesnt

changed files from rudy enb and nothing

With the Mcflys file and a dof.fx file I did manage to get the dof settings to show but changing them doesnt do anything, its just really confusing

Any ideas would be appreciated ^^

Doesn't TV have a directory that uses lower DOF settings? Can't remember, used to use TV, but have found a better ENB.  Have you given the DynaVision mod any consideration? Might be easier.

Can you not just plug in his DOF parameters? There are not many for DOF after all. you could probably just play around with the settings for 15 minutes and get something you liked.

How would I do that? Bear in mind when I did have the dof.fx file any settings i played with diddnt do anything

EDIT: Just wondering, does matching the enb version with the one mentioned on the enb you want to use matter? Also i dont mind changing enb but i dont know how it will work with my setup colour-wise as my game is full of summer overhaul mods so its a little bit brighter than usual and no snow

Depth of field just blurs a certain range by a certain value doesn't it, so the colour shouldn't matter.

In game, hit SHIFT + ENTER then the tild key to bring up the console (just so your camera is still) then on the right of the enb menu you can find the DOF settings and start playing around.

I don't know what the parameters mean yet, I want to learn enb properly but I'm bit busy. You are basically tweaking how much blur and where the center of foreground focus should be and how wide.

Yes this is what im trying to say, on the right menu, my dof.fx file isnt there so i cant do anything, and then when i do add it, nothing happens

EDIT: Okay, ive got it working!  Reinstalling the d3d9.dll and using martys file its working now, presumably i got a file wrong somewhere, but it doesnt help that i cant find the differences with the dof.fx file and the prepass.fx file
