Tranquils Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 So I've taken a LE armor mod, optimized it, and now trying to convert it to my bodytype in bodyslide. I'm running into this problem though, whenever I try to swap the body [CBBE] by adding my body project and [3BBB] and deleting [CBBE] Spoiler When I do this however, I get these hug gaps in the wrists and ankle for some reason Spoiler With armor Without armor Anyone know what that's about and how I can fix it?

By opening the nif offended with Nifskope, you should see it with the textures applied. If you see it instead of purple, the textures must be applied manually and retested in the game. It seems to me that the textures are missing, it would take a screen of the armor to deny or confirm. Even Outfitstudio would be enough to see the same thing, if the textures are missing (maybe a bug does not make them read) you should see the white / gray armor

The missing part was in a subfolder of the meshes and in order to use it I moved the missing part to the armor folder. try to look if in the meshes of the dress you don't happen to have a folder and a subfolder. If this were the case, it would be enough to transfer the contents of the subfolder to solve the problem. If not, is it possible to have the mod of the armor in question to try it?
KoolHndLuke Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 What mod is this so I can download it and have a look?

Nope, no subfolders, it seems to be in the right place. And yes very much so, do you want my nifs or the armor mod itself? EDIT: here's a link to the mod https://www.patreon.com/posts/melodic-28958319 EDIT 2: It's also happening with other mods from this author, and I'm pretty sure it's nothing wrong with his mods
KoolHndLuke Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Oh, sorry mate. Too large a file for me since I'm on a budget. Good luck!

No worries thanks anyways I got a feeling this problem is related to bodyslide somehow as I've had some other strange things happen when building in bodyslide got no clue if these are related, but this is the first time I encounter these issues after I reset my pc to factory settings
Tranquils Posted February 5, 2020 Author Posted February 5, 2020 A little update, this happens when I do conform all with the new sliderset, any idea how to fix that?
DesertDancer Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 I had that problem before, it was worse with the Cbbe bodyslide compared to the UUNP (I think because with the Cbbe, you can't really build the hands and feet). This is a known problem and before when I took the armor off, the gaps were worse and the unlined with the body. You can try looking for mods for hands and feet and replace them in the bodyslide. Not sure if that's what I did to get it to stop or not as it's been awhile. I just stuck with the UUNP body and Demonic skin textures (based on Fair Skin Complex and Mature Skin) and only have limited amount of armor that is just for bodyslide and doesn't rely on other files. The real guess is the armor and when you build them for the body type, it may not have worked to fit properly. If the problem was the texture, you can probably tell in bodyslide before open it up in nif, so that is probably less likely to be the issue.

For me the issue appears WHEN I build the body (hands feet body) in bodyslide, that's when I get the seams As for the armor the issue only appears when I use Conform All with my new body
Tranquils Posted February 5, 2020 Author Posted February 5, 2020 Ok so, just moving the files from MO2 directly to the skyrim folder (without changing literally anyting) turned out to actually get the legs and arms back.... Seam is still there though, so not sure what good it did me except confuse me even more why would moving it from the MO2 folder to the data directory cause part of the mesh to reappear? Spoiler
Tranquils Posted February 5, 2020 Author Posted February 5, 2020 Spoiler And this is how it looks with the vanilla mesh, but modded body textures, the seam is gone. It looks like the mod can't load the right feet mesh or something? I gotta admit I am proper fucking confused here, something strange is going on
