Modded Skyrim, need help after Windows reinstallation.

Unfortunately I had to install my Windows 10 new one because of a Trojan.

Now my Skyrim is a bit weird.

The picture is plater and cut in half in black. See pictures.

As my Skyrim and the Nexus Mod Manager are located on a different hard disk, these files were not changed during the WIndows reinstallation.

The files in the \Documents\My Games\Skyrim I also saved before the reinstallation.

The only thing that has changed in my opinion is the loading order of the mods.

Of course, I could be wrong that this is the reason.

Therefore I ask for help to get my Skyrim running again.

Can someone please tell me what my problem is and what I need to change?

Is that issue.. with the regular use of the computer, during other games or only Skyrim

Try making sure you have everything updated. 

When re-installing did you use the restore option or nuke and reload of the OS. (the default windows restore option might have been harmed by the trojan.. one can never tell)

 

One thing... make sure you have your files from NMM backuped properly.. outside of the computer (if possible) as you work on this in case you do something that makes things worse.

 

Finally, try to verify cache for the game. I doubt it is the cause but.. if it is only Skyrim then perhaps something is wacked . I have never seen or herd this happen except with a graphic card failure or driver failure.

If it is only skyrim and no other games that have it:

 

If you launch skyrim unmodded (if it possible with that old outdated NMM),

if you do not have that fancy effect then,

yes it is a mod that is most likely causing it.

 

Or it may be an ENB that is not working correctly.

From the picture it looks like you are using an ENB. So disable it in game (Usually Shift F12), and see if you get the full screen. If you do, you know it's the ENB. Then you could try something like disable 'mist' in the ENB  config, (because from random internet search that looks like a common culprit). Just a thought.

The problem only exists with Skyrim.
All other games I've played since the reinstallation run without problems.

I have done a complete reinstallation. As not a restoration or anything.

It really seems to be the ENB's fault. When I deactivate the ENB, the image is normal.

 

I looked at the installation instructions on the mod page of my ENB and found that some settings in the skyrimprefs.ini were wrong.
After I adjusted them, everything works again.

I have never seen such an issue with the game.  Perhaps  your ENB is the cause if you use one.  A complete re-installation shouldn't have such issues. It is so strange.
