GITS FA outfit blurry textures

I don't even remember where I downloaded this outfit mod but it only comes with BA2 files: main, textures ba2 files plus an esp

The mod comes with its own body preset and no BS files.

It doesn't matter if I reload the save or restart the game the textures remain extremely blurry. Doubt that's the way it should look like.

I've seen the outfit in GiTS First Assault and it looked quite detailed.

Is it because all the mesh and texture files are in BA2 archives?

Would it help if I unpack and edit the esp?

I just want some advice and opinion from you experts before I spend time fixing it myself.

Outfit looks not so bad, if you saw it in another mod probably it have better textures in it, why not check it?

Unpacking will not help you, you can try set higher setting for textures in f4 settings, also check original mod and check if it have version with better textures in downloads

And better to ask mod author and in the mod topic

yeah it's too bad I totally forgot where I downloaded this mod from. It could be gunnetwork probably have to check there

The image I uploaded seems to have got compressed quite a lot but the screenshot i uploaded to imgur looks slightly sharper.

As you see the textures looks much blurrier than everything else and all the other outfit mods that I have look way more detailed even the older ones like the X92 armor

My computer (i7 4790k 16gb gtx1080) may be a bit old for the newest games but it should handle this game even with hundreds of mods.

found the problem. the problem is the mod itself.

No wonder the entire mod is less than 2mb. the textures are tiny. I assume the author must have uploaded tiny texture files as the textures are quite detailed when opened in Photoshop but they are about 640x480. Maybe he wanted people to buy the mod or something even though the assets were clearly taken from another game

Anyone has a good guide on how to create high res textures?
