Sims 4 Studio Newb Question

Hey all,

 

I am new to this whole CC stuff but think I did okay with my first 3 packages.  

1.  Hyrule Logo tattoo from the Zelda games,     okay remind me never to do the inner arm as that is where the seam is and splitting the image and ensuring it lines up perfectly took forever (well, not really about 20 minutes).
2. Dual Wolf Tattoo - this is a personal tattoo I designed for me and a friend a few years back so I put it on my Sim.
3. Bottom T-Shirt  -  I saw this t-shirt at a bar and just had to make it. 

All of which I put up for download so you can check them out and give me suggestions if you want..   I have tested them and my game runs great with them ...  also I have not figured the whole capturing a good thumbnail .

I am assuming WickedWhims TurboDriver would be required. 

 

Okay question...

 

I am trying to do, from Final Fantasy VIII game, Zell's face tattoo but there is no "Tattoo, Face" or the like, outfit type in the categories so, how do you get around this? I want to ensure it is tagged correctly.

Also on a similar note if I have two torso tattoos I want on my Sim do the have to be in the same file, since there can, it appears, only be one tattoo per body part. or is there a way around this limit. 

 

How do you get graduation in tones on you tattoos?..  even if I color them is gradient they come out stark black.   I want the tattoos to have a bit of realism.  

 

FYI I am using Sims 4 Studio and Photoshop 2020.

Okay first, the picture of you... Ooof ❤️

 

So there's already someone who made the Zells face tattoo as part of a tattoo pack on TSR or somewhere like that, you can always remake it but you're right theres no face tattoo catagory, just chose another tattoo slot and make sure its positioned where the face is and it will be fine.

 

The second thing about the gradient, you probably just want to make your image a little bit transparent to give that faded look, you can add new swatches with different defuses which could be completely different tattoo's or the same tattoo with different colors/transparency.

If you put 2 tattoo's in different packages on the same slot they wont be able to be worn at the same time, so you could maybe make 3 defuses, 1 of each alone and 1 with both, that way you can have them in the same package and the same slot.

Yeah I figured it had been done but I just can't seem to locate it  ?      I was doing a bit more research and my work-a-round on this would be to use the Face Paint or Makeup categories.

For face tattoos use Face paint category  , For guys on sims 4 studio best one is American Fotball face painting, the one with decorations like the example

You're welcome, the more you tinker with your stuff, you'll figure out little bits more about S4S and how to use it. 

There's a bunch of tutorials on Studio website if you get stuck.
