Some cc won't show up on male sims

So I'm trying to make a trap using a female frame and feminine clothing problem is for some reason despite being tagged feminine it doesn't show up 

some cc that is I tried to make a female sim in case just to test my hypothesis and sure enough all my cc is still there but half the collars aren't showing up same with nails BDSM outfit from kritical etc

Any idea what causes this and more accurately how to solve it

CC clothing? if you have sims4studio you check to see if the clothing has been flagged to restrict opposite gender......
