txice Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 So I'm not sure what I've done, but all of a sudden when I'm talking to NPC sims I seem to no longer be able to use the "Have Sex" option under the "Romance" section of the conversation wheel. The choice is there, but clicking on this simply does nothing all of a sudden. No action queues, my sim doesn't request sex, nothing, they just stand there as if I've not given them a command at all. Other commands from "Romance" work fine. I am still able to initiate a sexual encounter by using the "Sex..." option under the "Wicked" category on an eligible object and that works. I liked using the "Have Sex" option, however, as not only did I like the randomness of what would happen, but primarily because I didn't have to bother with picking a partner, selection the animation, etc., they just giggled and went off to have their fun. This is also not just happening with a single NPC sim, but any NPC I try.  I've done just about everything I can think of. I've reset WW back to defaults, I've loaded old settings configs, I've deleted my localthumbcache.package file, and nothing seems to work. And it worked fine earlier in the day.  I don't know if it's related either but I also noticed I now have an oddity in my "relationship status" with an NPC sim (Courtney Reagan). Even though both the friendship and romance bars are fully filled in, our relationship status now appears to be "stuck" at "acquaintances".  Any ideas on something I might be able to try would be appreciated.

I like WW 147i because it's still working.  Just one of the new, or adjusted, features of WW 150.  "Changed the Have Sex option to be less open".  And the Cum Whore trait doesn't do much now because the Cum Layer applied to sims is now on a countdown timer for automatic removal. (Pretty short timer too)  The only workaround for random is using the autonomous switch. And getting all the other WW settings set right. Â
txice Posted January 22, 2020 Author Posted January 22, 2020 I missed that note in the change log. No idea what exactly it is supposed to mean, but now that you've pointed that out it has me wondering if it is perhaps just a bug stemming from whatever that specific change is supposed to actually do. Perhaps a bug where the dialog option appears in the available choices in the dialog wheel but the code isn't intending for it to actually be there so clicking it doesn't actually do anything.  Now this has me trying to remember if this issue cropped up only after I updated WW to 150b (which I downloaded because the change log also indicated there was a fix for a specific issue with peeping sims that I was having).

txice Posted January 22, 2020 Author Posted January 22, 2020 Well the sims I'm trying it on all have both the friendship and romance bars completely full. Though I still have no idea what that specific change that you pointed out actually means, I've just been doing some basic testing and I do believe it is specific to whatever was changed in 150b.  I (luckily) still had the download files for 150a so i swapped them out and re-loaded my game. With 150a running "Have Sex" works every time. I closed out the game, put 150b back on, log back into the game and "Have Sex" goes back to doing nothing. I've switched back and forth now a couple of times and thus far "Have Sex" works every single time as long as I'm using 150a. So yeah, I'm going to say that whatever "Changed the Have Sex option to be less open" specifically means in regards to what was changed in 150b has something to do with my issue.  So now I just need to figure out which I want to work more, the features that 150b fixed for me and to stick with it, or the ones it seemingly broke for me and go back to 150a for the time being.

iezxumdi Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 I am also experiencing the "have sex" option not working on 150b. In my case it is with two player controlled sims.
darnellcotez Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 The "have sex" option is not working on some lots i.e. Nookstone, the lot beside it, and Lagoon Lookout, but works on others. Don't know why.
