Guest Shadd Ashborn Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 So, question is simple - is there any existing way to remove that second delay of camera stopping after I use control keys (wasdqe)? That "cinematic" delay makes some compositions absolutely impossible to make. Here's what I mean: I have this composition (example one straight after game start, eh) and I almost satisfied with it, but I need to move camera a very little down to make nice shot. I trying to move camera down with hotkey and... Because of that delay all is screwed, it moved too much because of inertion (I pressed hotkey as mich light as it possible). After that all I can do is search different angle because delay is too high to capture scene the way I want, I will always have wrong up/down position. In FNV, for example, it's very easy, I barely press a key and camera moves a very little as I want, because there is zero delay after camera moving. Also, here's small video example what I mean - moving camera has delay, zoom in-out behaves exactly how I want it to behave. Spoiler I assume it could be possible with camera.ini file, but I wasn't succesful in finding anything about it in google (not even single camera.ini guide) and also digging through it and experimenting with values didn't gave me what I want (zero delay in controlling camera moves). Hope for help of someone who is familiar with such essential for screenshoters things.
Vengeance_11 Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 Camera.ini is the default camera. The Free Camera is either the PhotoCamera.ini or the VideoCamera.ini.
hyungry Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 You could also try the no drift camera mod! http://modthesims.info/d/536953/live-mode-and-tab-mode-camera-mods-no-drift-amp-lower-level.html

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to pan back and forth just to get the perfect angle before I used this mod ?
