Help with fixing these high heel outfits to work with LooksMenu

edit: TLDR: I cannot get these heel outfits to work with LooksMenu's in-game morphing for some unknown reason. The author's other set of outfits work fine with it. What must I do to get them working? They work with BodySlide just fine, and I have generated the morphs.

Hello, I am brand new to modding. I am attempting to fix up some mods (for personal use), but I have run into a roadblock.

I found this mod:

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15907

It has bad clipping when used with LooksMenu, so I fixed this by fully zapping the CBBE body out of the heels, and unzapping the upper body (dress) CBBE (the author had it the other way around). I loaded the heels' CBBE as the upper body reference. Then, I zapped out the areas of the dresses that had clipping issues. I then build the outfits in BodySlide with morphs using CBBE Curvy Outfit preset (I use this as default base).

This fix works perfectly: even with LooksMenu Extended Sliders and CBP Physics, there is no clipping!

But the next step has me stumped:
I want to use these heels from the same author:

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15152

They do not work with LooksMenu for some reason (even though I built them with morphs in Bodyslide), and I have no idea why. It does not seem to be due to them using the "Fallout 4 High Heels System", because the version without HHS has this same problem.

Wearing these heels causes the whole body to revert all of my in-game LooksMenu changes to default CBBE (but the upper body clothing remains in the LooksMenu shape).

I tried loading one of the heels' CBBE bodies as a reference for a top, as I did with the other mod. This does allow me to use the in-game LooksMenu settings with the heels.

But I now have a problem:

The heels' stockings do not warp with the LooksMenu settings for some reason, so the thicker legs clip through the stockings. They warp fine in Bodyslide. It seems like this must just be some simple setting that I'm missing??

Also (less important), I notice that the author custom-fit the feet for each heel, so my use of the same entire body from the upper body clothing will cause shoe fitting problems. Is it acceptable to zap everything above the shoes to be part of the dress, then leaving the feet with the heels so they fit each heel? Or would this cause issues down the road? If it is fine, is there a clean way to cut the zap at the exact same place between the two separate parts (heels outfits, dress outfits)?

Thank you for any help.

AFAIK, the high heel system ITSELF has been causing CTD's........Hopefully that has been fixed, or will be soonish.......

:exclamation:

For  me it's .rar's that cause my majority of CTD's. Although not all .rar's can be converted And not all converted .rar's work at all lol.  I would double check the outfit's that use/have high heels to see if they are .rar instead of .7 zips.  I like to use cloud convert for those.

@Brian L it's one of the boxes.  Run hamster run.  When you are in outfit studio.  I had the same issue when I first was converting outfits from cbbe to fg and again when removing parts from an outfit that I only wanted the skirt from.  There is a box in outfit studio that changes the body that the outfit converts to.  I f'ed up a pair of shoes and when I wear them my characters body goes flat chested zero'ed body instead of her normal CBBE body.  If you watch a tutorial it's when you are saving the loaded outfit.  You have a box to check or uncheck and if you forget that outfit will override your CBBE body with it's worn.
