Sillius_Maximus
Im working in SSEEdit. I have 2 mods. I have spent the last 5-6 hours copying everything from MOD A, to MOD B. MOD A = A00000000 MOD B = B00000000 1) I have copied and pasted all of A000000 to B00000000 2) Have gone through - line by line, reference by reference making sure B00000000 only references B00000000 3) "check for errors, clean masters, show conflicts, etc" have given me nothing to go on. 4) A00000000 Did have a 2 leveled lists, however I combined those into one - and moved the new one over to B0000000 (largely as a place holder). In the past, the reason has been "there is still a A0000 fragment in B00000." I am assuming this is still the case, HOWEVER, to my question. Is there a way to search ALL of B00000 at ONE time for ALL refrences starting with A000000000 aka "Search MOd B for any formID starting with A" Ive right clicked, applied preset to MOD B, but but there is a lot of options there, so im sure if that is the answer, im not using the correct options ... so what would be the correct options? * essentially at this point, its nothing but reworked vanilla stuff, with vanilla stuff - i havent added any non vanilla assets Link to comment
Sillius_Maximus
I will say, apparently restarting ssedit a few times and kind of forcing things seems to have finally fixed the issue. But I am still curious as the answer to my question(s) Like "If at first, second, third, and fourth times, you find no errors- try 8 more times" Link to comment
spoonsinger
Rename ModA to back it up. Then use Wyre Bash To create a dummy esp of ModA. Then load Mod A, (dummy) and Mod B into xEdit. Then check for errors. That should highlight the things still being referenced as Mod A. Note them down on a piece of paper or remember them . Rename ModA (backup) to ModA. Load up xedit with ModA and ModB. Then make the appropriate changes. Then Clean Masters to get rid of ModA from ModB header. Link to comment
