Player and NPCs enter idle stance between stages.

At least with the dog and the fly enemy, the characters will often enter their standing position between stages.

Any way to fix this? I head it was something about frames vs time, but it doesn't seem like that's something I can easily change en mass.

 

Is there a way to disable all auto staging or something like that?

This only applies to stage changes for animations involving non-human actors. It's due to settings in files outside of AAF or animations. So, it would need to be fixed there.

 

To my knowledge, nobody has figured out how to do it.
