Raven Rock Mine crashes the game

As it says in the title. Everything works fine until I enter Raven Rock Mine on Solstheim. I even had a character that could head down all the way to the word wall before something that wasn't her went pear-shaped and the whole character corrupted, all the way back to the Alternate Start prison cell (i keep that save just in case things break but don't completely break). Couldn't tell you what was going right for her, though.
I was also having a peculiar problem with RND2 where the widget control tab wouldn't load. A brand new character fixed that, but not the more serious issue of Raven Rock.
Edit: Remembered something odd - the corrupted character, a female khajiit, was fine before and after the other one, a male khajiit, was made and remade. Up until, you know, the save corrupted.

Using Vortex, FNIS and LOOT are run after every change.

So before I start taking this house of cards apart to try and find the joker, would anyone here happen to have an idea as to why this happening?

CTD always in the same locatin is caused by corrupted mesh.

Disable mod and load your savegame until find the problematic mod.

I'm well aware of that strategy, and it's not helping. The most notable thing that's happened so far is the corruption of a test save.
Is there something I can do or use to see what mod is messing with the mine so much?

If you want know exactly what mod is causing the problem the only way is disable mod until locate it.

 

If you only want solve the CTD, no matter what mod cause it, you can try run Cathedral Assets Optimizer.

 

After the correct load of the savegame the 99% of the CTD in SE are caused by bad mesh.

I toggled and tested a number of outlying SexLab mods on a duplicated test profile, and narrowed it down to... nothing. Everything worked just fine after turning the mods off and on again.

So I did it again on the my main profile, on a completely fresh character. And I'm right back to square one. A few seconds inside the mine and I CTD.

I'm considering turning the test profile into the main profile, but I feel like that might curse the damn thing.

Edit: So, after playing 'Whack-a-Mole-and-Also-my-Head-on-the-Doorframe' it's been pared all the way down to the two ASOS mods. Glad it wasn't something I was actively using or going out of my way to use. Removed them, and gonna keep an eye out in case Skyrim is playing possum. Out of curiosity, would anyone have an idea as to why ASOS borked an entire mine (and probably other locations I hadn't checked)?
