Load order is ok in NMM, not so much in data files

Ok, so I got everything installed using NMM, in the same load order I had it in before, however I get crashes at start up, as in the screen goes black, I hear the first note of music, then it closes.

I have the load order as I did before, but when I check the data files in the game launcher, the Oblivion master file is at the bottom.

I think this may have something to do with the crashes, but I can't be sure.

I don't know what you by it being the same LO as before. Would you please post it again?

As for NMM... I would advise against using it. I normally recommend Wrye Bash when it comes to LO problems.

Well, NMM is a POS and you should NEVER run the original game launcher as it auto-generates a new oblivion.ini each time you do.

From your description you have one of the following issues:

1. A bad ini file(s)

2. An incorrect load order.

Those are normally why you get a CTD at startup.

We can't begin to help you unless you post your load order. I recommend using OBMM or as vashar said Wrye Bash.
