So I went to go play my fallout 4 and couldn't because apparently while I was asleep the game updated and now some of my mods (seemingly important ones) don't work now because of the new version vs. the expected verson.

Does anyone know what I can expect to wait for the mods to be updated to the new version of the game? as far as I know only AAF as been updated to be accurate.

Typically 2-5 days.

You could also temporarily revert back to 1.10.162 using "Steam Depots".

It's what i did, after being blocked from playing for a 2nd time this week due to updates.

This Reddit Page describes it in short, specifically for the 1.10.162 files.

I give a more descriptive explanation below.

This is a more extensive guide about depots in general. Depot Guide.

5 Easy steps to revert back to 1.10.162.

Step 1. Open steam console by pasting "steam://nav/console" in your browser or explorer.

Step 2. Copy paste the following 2 commands (1 by 1) in the console.

download_depot 377160 377162 722772836404719905

download_depot 377160 377163 9028775639569854819

Step 3. Wait for the download to finish, 2nd depot is 17gb, Check your download speed to see if it's still going.

Step 4. Disable auto update of fallout 4,right click the game in steam, go to properties, under"Updates" tab set Automatic Updates to "Only update when i launch it"

Step 5. Navigate to Steam\steamapps\content and copy the following files from the depots to your Fo4 Installation Folder.

Fallout.exe

Data/Fallout4.esm

Data/Fallout4 - Interface.ba2

Data/Fallout - Misc.ba2

Data/ccBGSFO4020-PowerArmorSkin(Black) - Main.ba2

Data/ccBGSFO4020-PowerArmorSkin(Black) - Textures.ba2

The bottom two in red, are only needed if you actually bought the Power Armor skin from the store.

Hope this helps.

EDIT:

Forgot to include fallout4.esm file.
