WickedWhims not improving fun/social need

It seems like since the latest Sims 4 update, having sex using WickedWhims is not longer replenishing the fun or social needs like it used to. I have tested normal Woohoo and this still refills both as intended. Has anyone else noticed this or can suggest a fix?

 

I am using the latest update of the base game (no expansions) and have the latest WickedWhims also. Please let me know if you require any further info.

Haven't had this problem myself or seen it mentioned anywhere else so....

 

Pretty good chance you have another mod blocking it.

But finding it is another story without any LE's to help.

 

Other mods that alter motives, traits, etc. are suspect.

 

You can try moving all your other mods except for WW+Animations to a Temp folder on your desktop to test this out.

Just don't make any new saves with those mods removed.

 

Don't forget to delete your localthumbcache in your TS4 folder every time you add, remove, or update any mods or the game.

 

If you can prove WW is working afterwards you can start loading mods back in a couple at a time until it bugs out again.

 

If WW still isn't working after removing other mods then try doing an Origin Repair Install next.

I'm also having this issue.  Will report back if I find the cause/fix.

 

edit for some clarity:  

 

 - "Wicked" actions do not improve Fun or Social

 - WW is my only mod

 - deleting the localthumbcache didn't help

 - everything else seems to be working fine

 

again, WW actions work just fine.  they just don't contribute to those two needs.

Thanks for the replies. I have one or two other mods, but nothing I can't do without. Will remove now and report back, although the above post doesn't fill me with confidence.

Nope. Stripped it down to just WW and still no movement on either need. Sad times.

Did you try doing an Origin Repair Install yet?

 

Last thing to try is removing all mods to desktop.

Delete localthumbcache

Cut/Paste the WickedWhimsMod folder in your saves to desktop.

 

Load last game save just up to the town map screen before loading household.

Do a save as 'Testing' or whatever, then exit.

It should clean out any leftover mod glitches and you can use the cleaned save as a base for further testing.

Delete the localthumbcache again and re-install just WW + Animations.

Re-test in game.

 

As a side note some of the lesser known animations may cause some strange bugs so it's best to stick with those listed on the WW main page.

Origin "repair" and installed today's version of WW and mine is working again.  Thanks for the help.

Scorpio - Thank you especially for being so thorough with your advice. I'm glad I didn't need to try your latest solution, but at least it's there if this happens again.
