This game is a small game I developed. It is a complete remake of NuclearWar.
It is a very small version of Civilization, if you like. But way more crazy and simple.

 

You will start with a city and you will improve your country. And build weapons and use these weapons to destroy the opponents. until there will be only one.

 

All was created by me (code, graphics, sound, logic, etc.) with Unity.
The title music was created by TrolledWoods and used with his license.

 

The game is free for everybody. Just enjoy it.

And, no, you cannot make money by redistributing the game.

 

 

Quick explanation about how to play:

 


The game is played in turn with from 1 to 5 opponents.

Each turn, each player, will decide which action to perform.

Possible actions are:

FindResources.pngFind resources: will find more resources that can be used to build weapons and improve cities (some resources are automatically produced each turn based on your numer of cities, population, technologies, and city improvements.) You have a little probability to do extra technology discoveries.

Research.pngResearch: you select the technology to be researched and it will be available the next turn

Social.png Social Activities: make your country happier and increase the population a little. The population of each of your cities will be slightly balanced. You have a little probability to do extra discoveries or extra city improvements.

[icon]Improve cities: you will select and build a city improvement. City improvements allow production of more effective weapons and produce benefits to your country.

[icon]Diplomacy: this is not available in this version of the game.

[icon]Propaganda: you will target a city of an opponent and try to convince the opponent population that you are better. If you succeed, part of the population of the city will move to one of your cities.

[icon]Build weapons: based on your resources, technologies, and city improvements, you will produce pseudo-randomly some defenses, warheads, and delivery system (weapons.) Resources will be consumed in the production of weapons. Warning because producing weapons many times without using them will have the effect of stockpiling (bad results in case you are attacked.)

[icon]Deploy weapons: you will choose the delivery system to be used. There are different systems: Missiles, Airplanes, Ships, Submarines, and Satellites. Each type is more effective than the previous one. Each type has a defined range of attack (that is calculated from the border of your country) and a maximum capacity.

[icon]Use weapons: when you have a delivery system available, you can use it by loading a warhead (5 different types, more and more powerful, with different sizes) and then select the target city.

[icon]Deploy defenses: some defense system can be deployed to block or reduce opponents attacks against your cities. More powerful is the defense system less damage you will receive. Defense systems stay in place until an attack against you is performed.

[icon]Settle a new city: if you have at least 25 units of food you can settle a city on an area that is adjacent of your existing cities. Half of the population of a city close to the selected spot will move and build the new city.

[icon]Denuclearize: in case a city was hit by a nuclear weapon it will become radioactive and the population will decrease. Using this action you can remove the radioactivity. It can be used also on completely destroyed cities.

 


Warning. The game is not signed. So your antivirus may tell you that you should not run it.

 

 

Future: implement diplomacy, implement the ability to play the game with other people (multiplayer), fix all bugs that will be found
