Creature Animation problem...

Recommended Posts

So once upon a time wolves dogs bears dragons and alike could have fun in my modded game. Like, a lot of fun... unrealistic non-stop fun. Then, and read me out, I installed Deviously Cursed Loots.

I've went through all of the settings of all of my mods many times to try and fix this. DCL, Defeat, Death Alternative and then some.

MOST CREATURES WORK (but)

MatchMaker worked on a dog in riverwood. It won't work on wolves.

I can't seem to use G to have fun with very many people anymore, and necro (using G) with most creatures is broken. (for when my dumb followers decide to kill the animal that wanted to have fun)

I HAVE seen wolves have fun with NPC's, but there's no way to trigger wolf animations with the player anymore. (I may have gotten MatchMaker to work once or twice on Wolves, but it's not consistent. This may be related to arousal/horniness/pleasure variables, that's the only thing left on my list of ideas, and my main female character is very... promiscuous.

Please help me fix my creature animations!

I'll update it and see what happens, but I know my install is relatively recent.

My installed version is labeled as "MoreNastyCritters v12RC11" ... is that the newest?

ModOrganizer says it is a version from October this year.

it's not the newest but it should be working.

5. make sure you have "Allow Creature Animation" checked in SexLab's MCM settings.

6. turn off "Match Creature Gender" in sexlab's MCM settings, if this setting is enabled some animations won't play.

7. did you forget to install the FNIS Creature Pack? install it and rerun the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe, then do steps 5 & 8
NOTE: if you do have the Creature Pack but some creatures are just playing idle animations during sex try clicking on "De-Install Creatures" in FNIS, after it's done running click on "Update FNIS Behavior"
(doing this will delete all the creature behavior files generated by FNIS and remake new ones...that is assuming you DO have the FNIS Creature Pack installed)

8. you may need to reload the animations, go to the Animation Loader's MCM and then:
8.1. click on the "Disable All" button.
8.2. click on "Rebuild Animation Registry", then Wait for the message to pop up*.
8.3. click on "Reload JSON".
8.4. click on "Enable All".
8.5. click on "Count Animations" and make sure nothing is over 500, turn off some animations if they are.
8.6. click on "Register Animations", then Wait for the message to pop up*.
*if you like you can press "~" on your keyboard to open the console so you can watch it Register everything, just make sure you close it before you try to click on anything.

I thought it would quote your quote too lol. That doesn't matter, though.

The only thing I haven't actually tried that you just quoted is uninstalling and reinstalling animations using FNIS, but it's not an animation issue per se. The animations still work on other NPC's but it's rare for it to happen.

I need to go through my settings again anyway...

Spoiler

every 3 minutes I'm in town I'm getting raped by Guards and their "friends." which isn't even allowing me to find creatures right now lol!!! (While I'm not entirely upset about this issue... it's very much limiting my exposure to creatures until I get far away from towns. Then comes my "multiple gasms" mod which makes the scenes last forever! I'm just glad the iFPV mod I have allows me to switch character views cus I play as fem... for that matter, I wish I didn't have to stare through a creature's jaw when I try it on creatures)

Edit: Post thought, I'm gonna go get some screenshots of my MCM. That should be helpful for anyone trying to help me.

sorry I'm taking so long to get those screenshots. I think my PC may have caught a bug... working to resolve that first.
