This optional mod edits the dialogue in the game so that some NPCs will appropriately reference Marnie's unusually apparent nudity

This mod assumes that Marnie is the only one naked in the game. The player will be assumed clothed and thus not compatible with the nude-reactions-updated mod.

 

 

Note that this mod is unfinished and kinda rough, and only covers your first visit to the Motostoke Stadium and the Team Yell encounter in the Budew Drop Inn.

A version of this mod where both Marnie and the player are naked is planned.

I managed to add the new Marnie mod into the nsfw texture pack section, so for those who have downloaded the linked file above, there are two things you can do:

1. If you have not enabled the "nsfw texture pack" mod yet, then you can just delete the folder and add in the new one in your personal folder and in the game's folder. (called texture pack in the zip)
2. If you have already enabled the "nsfw texture pack" mod, you will need to replace the exact Marnie character model file in the original folder. (called tr0005_00_EvilSister.gfpak in the zip) Then, you will need to delete the file from the game's mod folder (NOT the original folder on your computer) and then add the original folder again. If you have any questions about this, don't hesitate to ask!
   1. The place you need to put the file will be located approximately here: \SWORD\texture pack\nsfw texture pack\romfs\bin\archive\chara\data\tr_m\mdl

The reason you can't just delete and replace the whole folder once the mod has already been enabled is because the game will be used to the old textures and will have trouble finding them again. I don't know why, but that's just how it is.

Because that game is harder to mod in custom models.

Legends: Arceus has the same problem but we're fortunate enough that someone manage to make a nude mod for it.

That same modder planned to make nude mods for Scarlet/Violet too but they haven't been active for a while.

Another modder has made an attempt for S/V though but we haven't heard any progress since.

Hey Catnatic, I love your nude dialogue mods and got to the end of the nude reactions in the game and am wondering if you are still working on further nude dialogue for the game. If you are, then I will stop at the point I am now and only continue the game once you released that. At the same time, as you mentioned you will potentially also make a mod where both the player and marnie is nude dialogue mod, is that also in the works?

 

If you are not working on that anymore, then I might potentially look into how to modify the text myself.

I always plan to finish my dialogue mods including the naked Marnie addon for the main nudity reaction mod but I'm currently prioritising on releasing my nude projects for Red/Blue, Crystal, and Emerald this month. But there could still be some surprises though.

Unfortunately, I haven't worked on it since I prioritised working on Marnie instead and right now I want to do some work on early Pokemon games for the next couple weeks before I return to finishing the nude mod for Victor. I think the modelling is complete but I need to work on the textures and weight painting before I'm ready to release the mod.

My Yuzu shit the bed when trying to move stuff around on my Steam Deck. So I lost my 20 hours in save. So I guess I'll have to start over and hopefully by the time I get caught back up the nude NPC dialogue will be even more further finished! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Oof. I hate it when my data is deleted. How far did you get? The current version of the mod stops right after Sonia and Leon go to investigate a loud sound from Hammerlocke's power plant.

I started to work on the nude dialogue mod myself too, I am one gym further than what Catnatic ( Scoringbunny ) did so far. I did keep his message in the dialogue of where his ends and mine starts and I made some minor changes in the beginning, that you start nude, not that they think you're still wearing clothes. I also included the nude ( small boobs ) mod directly in it, as well as he outline remover, invisible bag ( every bag ) and invisible shoes ( all shoes ) is also in the zip file as separate turning off / on in the mod section. If you turn on invisible shoes but are wearing other outfits, then feet are invisible making you float

 

Most of the work is done by other people, just the part from Fairy gym to Rock gym dialogue is what I have done ( so far )

 

Do note, as this wasn't fully tested yet, some text might not be that great yet and currently there are still text files included that aren't needed which "mess up" the locations name / info.

 

When I upload another version, once I am at the end of the game and tested it, then that will be corrected.

Oh, didn't know that, Catnatic was posting it here and it sounded like it's their mod. I have worked on more ( up to past 7th badge ) but haven't uploaded or tested yet.

In my edits, I did make it that Marnie is also considered naked but not all edits for that have been done yet either.

And given that at this point in the story, Hop is having a crisis of confidence, the fact that the MC is naked while winning battle after battle would most likely hurt his confidence even more. Third: Gordie's (since I'm playing Sword) dialogue feels inconsistent compared to the other Gym Leaders faced so far. Throughout the original mod, the various Gym Leaders have reacted from shock at first, then amazement, and later appreciation for not only for the MC's dedication and confidence/courage, but also her skills as a Trainer alongside her nudism. I think the dialogue in the Rock Gym would be better served by remaining consistent with previous Gym Missions, plus a few lighthearted comments suggesting the player at least wear a mask due to heavy sandstorm that occurs during the mission.

Would it be possible to do a secondary version of the mod where NPC women don't talk about themselves going around without pants?

I like the idea of Gloria (and possibly Marnie) standing out as anomalies precisely because they're nude.

That's something that just bugged me with the original nude reactions mod.
