gettps Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Started with either the update or University pack. When I choose the option, "choose strap-on" or "pick strap-on" (whichever it is), it crashes and generates a completely black sim in T-Pose. If I didn't have the "Destroy Objects" mod, I wouldn't be able to get rid of it without reloading an old save. Have version 147a, happens on multiple worlds..
Scorpio Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 I think strap-ons are a cc clothing object, underwear maybe. It might be conflicting with another clothing object or trying to use the same slot at the same time. What strap-on mod are you using? Haven't read of any others having the same problem though. Sounds like bad cc to me. I get the black thing happening with a bad CC mini skirt I'm still hunting around for.
gettps Posted November 17, 2019 Author Posted November 17, 2019 Not sure, I've been using the same one for a long time. It's never had a problem so I've never checked for an update. I think it's Azmodan22's. It was recommended on the old WW site years ago, back around WW version 3.3 I think. I'll check and see if there are newer ones. Edit: Not sure what happened. I have the latest version, 11/18 of Azmodan22's. I re-installed it, the files were exactly the same. It works this time. Maybe the package files got corrupted? Never saw that happen before. Although... when I tried it before and it crashed, it was over in the new University town. I'll try going over there and trying "Change sim strap-on" again. Maybe it's the town. Edit 2: It's the town. If I select "Change sim strap-on" when over in Britechester, the function gets an LE error and a completely black mannequin in T-Pose appears at my sim's location. Edit 3: Actually it just happened in Newcrest also. The pic is from there. I don't know what's causing it. I did it four times in that same lot with the same sim and it worked. I just tried it three more times with the same sim on the same lot and it failed. It seems random. lastException.txt
Scorpio Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 SimInfoBaseWrapper' object has no attribute 'occult_tracker' Wonder if this is part of WW or another mod. WickedWhims_v147a\wickedwhims\sex\generic\strapon\mannequin.py\mannequin.py" Wonder what a strap-on has to do with a mannequin. I'm stumped... It seems like the strap-on is meant to be used on a mannequin so it converts your sim into one.
gettps Posted November 17, 2019 Author Posted November 17, 2019 When you choose the option, it takes you into CAS and displays a mannequin wearing the strap-on, not your sim. It looks the same as when you dress mannequins in GTW. Creating the mannequin is breaking some times, only I'm not sure what's triggering the failure. Load Game Newcrest: Sim 1 worked Newcrest: Sim 1 worked Newcrest: Sim 2 worked Newcrest: Sim 2 worked Took sim 1 to Britechester Foxbury dorms: Foxbury: Sim 1 failed Foxbury: Sim 1 failed Foxbury: Sim 1 failed Exit without saving. Load Game Took Sim 1 to Britechester Bar: Sim 1 worked. Took Sim 1 to Britechester Library: Sim 1 worked. Took Sim 1 to Britechester Foxbury Commons: Sim 1 worked. Took Sim 1 to Britechester Foxbury dorms: Sim 1 worked. Exit without saving Load Game Newcrest: Sim 1 failed Newcrest: Sim 1 failed Newcrest: Sim 1 failed Makes no sense.
Scorpio Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Makes me wonder if it's a CAS related mod. Could even be a bad cc object. Just read someone had a missing penis and was caused by a hair movement mod. Strange things going on. Even the 'no eyelash' mod can mess with body parts, so cc facial and hair mods can be causing problems too. (Items I would usually ignore) Got a feeling you will need to remove a bunch of mods and add them back in 1 at a time to find it. I'd start with all the cc used in CAS, it could even be something like underwear/clothing. Finding the needle in the haystack ordeal I'm afraid. Something else is trying to use the same slot I think, could even be something EA did with the pre-patch.
gettps Posted November 19, 2019 Author Posted November 19, 2019 It was WW. One of the patch notes said it was a problem. The update fixed it!
Scorpio Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 Yes WW has had 3 updates since the DU pre-patch. I doubt it's over just yet though.
