jstatem Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Anyone else experienced the new patch causing issues? I get a line 119 error. Game crashing as soon as the world is beeing loaded to play. Guest Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Probably outdated mods that's why you turn auto-game updates off and wait for the mods you have to either be given the all clear or get updated if needed.
Curtis56c Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 ya, having the same issue here, everything loads fine, until I load up a family, then it just crashes.
Curtis56c Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 ran repair on the game, I can get into the game now, but something is still "off", they reject any approach to sex now,....all of them, no matter what the settings are.
redheaded Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 I had to update this mod to keep the game from crashing. BUT, my sims won't accept sex - none of them. I even enabled the "always accept" and they all refuse...
jstatem Posted November 12, 2019 Author Posted November 12, 2019 Is there any way to find the old outdated mods conflicting? found a mod conflict detector but that seems outdated. Edit: Same problem with wickedwhims as you guys. Instant refuse. No matter what settings you turn it on.

Keep an eye on this thread : https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/968717/broken-updated-mods-cc-university-edition
Jsmoove94 Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 None of my sims accept sex now this is so annoying i have to shut auto updates off smh

A lot of fine people on this forum post warnings, myself included but I wasn't the one this time.
Guest Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 I have a grand total of 3 mods, but hundreds of custom CC and animations. I'm quite lucky that updates don't affect me too much other than waiting for WW. ?
fred200 Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 As a result of this patch, bin/ts4.exe no longer exists. Than means Vortex will think Sims 4 is not installed. Work-around - until Vortex can catch up: Copy ts4.exe from Bin_LE to Bin. That lets Vortex find Sims 4 and all is good.
psycatozzy Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 So where is bin? Can anyone tell me in steps? Thanks

Thanks I don't know your HDD setup on your PC where you might have it installed but go to where you have Origin installed and look for a folder Origin Games>The Sims 4>Game>Bin
psycatozzy Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 ok I think I have it but it has the 64 bit one in the bin. I just left it there. Can they both be in there?
RUASim21 Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Looks like you still have CNWW installed and he's changed it now to Kinky Whims and something else. You need the new/updated mods.
psycatozzy Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 I think my head exploded last night while talking with one of the helpers on EA. My laptop has 64 bits and 4 GB and he insisted I download Legacy game that says it is for 32 bit program. I refused to but it was put on my download anyway. I just went offline to play. I had to remove Nisa mod before my game would work. Not sure but this is such a mess now I don't know what to do. I did move things around in my bins. I am not a computer expert as you can tell by my comments but I get mad when I can't play my game just like everyone else. Thanks so much for trying to help me. I know it takes your time and I really appreciate it so much! Everyone here is so nice and so smart. Thanks for putting up with my stupid questions. Sorry to vent!
