More CBBE or CHSBHC with less skimpy

I'm probably in the minority here. In fact I'm probably on the wrong website altogether. :s

I would really like to see more curvy armors that don't make the girl look like a hooker.

I'm weird this way but I find it a lot more interesting and attractive to see extra curvy women in regular clothes. Even better if she's showing off a little without being half naked. (Like the bartender outfit for example.) Plus it's more immersive. Skyrim is cold! Put some clothes on girl!

The CB++ conversions of vanilla armor and clothes are excellent because they provide exactly what I'm talking about. I'd like to see some more of the beautiful armors and outfits in the non-skimpy variety with CB++ or CHSBHC curves.

The next step I guess is for me to learn how to make those things myself.

I second this. I like the more curvy figues too, but some of the adapted chsbhc-armors are too skimpy. Especially if you play with hypothermia mods. Wearing the skimpy chsbhc-armor  in the wilds near windhelm or winterhold and not freezing to death feels like cheating.

Some of the armors are available vanilla in chsbhc on the nexus. I would post a link, but it seems the nexus is down due to dragonborn getting released and all. Just search for 'vanilla armor chsbhc'.

But I would wish there were more vanillaish chsbhc versions of the steel, orc, dwarven and ebony armors.

TBH, after a quick skim of that thread it seems like those are mostly the sorts of things the OP was trying to avoid.

I sympathize with the OP and am constantly on the lookout for similar things.  Unfortunately, while there are a handful of reasonable and realistic armors and outfits for CBBE, the vast majority seem to be chainmail with nipples poking through, plate armor with the whole midsection removed, barmaid "outfits" that are actually bikinis, etc.  Caliente's original vanilla conversions are by far the most plentiful supply of reasonable clothing for CBBE bodies and I usually stick with those, along with a few other individual outfits that look at least reasonably realistic on CBBE (Grace Darkling's Ranger Armor, for instance), even if they aren't specifically fitted for it.  That that might be a little easier for me to find, though, as I use more modest CBBE settings and find the CHSBHC curves unrealistically large in and of themselves; stuff with CHSBHC-sized boobs are almost universally skimpy "Heavy Metal"-style chainmail bikinis.

While I like some skimpy armor I have to say I prefer well fitting full body armor when I'm out there taking on monsters. One armor I've really taken too is the Leere Armor for CBBE. Dunno, might be something you like?

Thanks for the suggestions. At this point I'm just glad to hear I'm not the only one who likes the less skimpy versions. The Immersive Armors would be awesome more curvy versions!

It is difficult to explain why, but basically I really enjoy seeing the very curvy busty women without seeing so much of the flesh. (Although I do have a huge attraction to cleavage! Huge cleavage!) I wonder if anyone is taking commissions for this sort of thing.

Here mate, try this out.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5564 its what i use.

I really like it myself. There are plenty of options and you can have underwear on by default by the armor/crafted and equipped under armor and removable at will you can also choose the Well Fitted download to make sure there aren't nipples slipping out.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29827 'BIG focus on Cleavage with this mod'  DOWNLOAD Cleavage And Skirts so its not so exposing, i hope these help you out.

It doesn't help that a whole lot of the modded armor looks like someone took a chainsaw to the vanilla outfit, which is not far from the truth. I'm talking about some of these getups where it is blatantly obvious that something that was supposed to be there was just removed without touching up whats left at all.

Since the Nexus works again:

vanilla Dawnguard outfits with CHSBHC  ---> http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21958

vanilla Skyrim outfits with CHSBHC ---> http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/7475

(the Killer Keos files are 70% skimpy, the vanilla files are vanilla)

NPC clothes with CHSBHC ---> http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/7394

Also: If anyone has too much free time, a CHSBHC version of the immersive armor mod would be great.

Thanks again for the suggestions. I have actually seen most of these already. And as Ekwood pointed out most of these are the existing armors with large pieces cut out. Some of them are okay but most expose too much skin, which to me is immersion breaking and takes a lot of the fun out of the game for me.

What I was trying to say to start with is that I'd like to see NEW clothes and armor made for CBBE or CB++. It has always bothered me that in all of Skyrim there are only 5 different types of outfits people wear. Well maybe more than 5, but not many. I understand guards wearing all the same armor but I hope to see heroes and bandits and mercenaries wearing lots of different variety of things. And while there are new armors out there (Immersive Armors for example) very few of them have any curves.

And yes, CHSBHC sizes aren't exactly realistic which is why I prefer CB++. The Body Slider (all hail Stuffed Bunny!) allows different clothes and armors to have different proportions so people can actually look different than each other. And that IS more realistic.

There are the odd one or two in http://www.loverslab.com/topic/6377-updated-923alans-bbp-armor-pack-22-english-version-by-alan/, but there is a ton of skimpy armors to wade through to get to that. The Triss armor is probably the best in that pack.

Another option is to use the Tera pack pieces and embellish the vampire armors in game like this http://dragonporn.ldblog.jp/archives/6810009.html

Another example is http://dragonporn.ldblog.jp/archives/6753073.html which hows how you can cover up and reduce the skimpiness of some armors with a tasteful cloak. For example the demon hunter http://dragonporn.ldblog.jp/archives/6751234.html which I believe some very curvy conversions.

Queen of the dammed is pretty well covered http://www.loverslab.com/topic/10270-conversion-for-mangadm/ Underworld is also pretty well covered bar the cleavage area. Maybe a cloak?

I also don't know if mods like the scarves might help.

I agree though, I'd love a super curvy version of the Medusa armor by Zero Frost or the vanilla Orcish.

I agree with this post, more "Vanilla" looking armor, The only meshes I found are the CBBE Conversion from Caliente's post.

And three good looking armors from Theminblack made for UNPB but work well for CBBE:
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18259 - Conversion more feminine for Plate armor (choose the older file for a less skimpy version)

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18097 - Conversion for Ancient Nord Armor, it look like the male model, for women (the CBBE at Maximum height make the breast out of the armor ...)

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19004 - Compilation of the armors maded, and the orcish one, looking more badass than the vanilla.

Err he specifically asked for curvy, but not skimpy. Thanks for the links though.

I really do appreciate all the suggestions everyone has been offering. The community here is SO supportive and helpful! You guys and girls are great.

I guess it is time for me to start teaching myself how to make armor and clothes myself. I don't even know where to start but I'm sure I can find some tips once I have some time to spare.

Thanks for that zax. You're right, that Dread Huntress Armor is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for.  And after looking at it that lead me to the other armors by Echo 1162 over on nexus.  [ http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21125/ ]

I especially like what he has done with the Thieves Guild Duelist armor. [ http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13646 ]  Now I have to find (or make) it in a CB++ version.

I like what he did with the Ancient Nord Armor except for the fact that he took away her pants! I'm telling you, a girl can't walk around Skyrim with no pants. It makes no sense. <shrug> Oh well. That's my opinion.

If you're looking for some CHSBHC-shaped armors, here's another mod that you may want to look into, I think it's called -WIP-_NCHSBHC.

I haven't gone through each armor one-by-one, but there's a mix of skimpy and converted default outfits in there. It might be worth checking out.

Thank you Winny257. I guess we're slowly getting the less-skimpy looks. I swear I really have got to teach myself how to mod armor. The Immersive Armors with CB++ options would probably completely satisfy my desire for curves and variety.

Yeah, I agree with the OP.

Now, I totally support clothing options of every kind. There should be regal dresses and courtly attire AND there should be clothes that a Riften whore would be ashamed to wear. But I tend to think that armor should actually be, you know, armor.
