Symon Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Some plugins DO have a lot of strings in arrays. Best way to clean possible bloat is to use Wrye Bash. It has a function to do this. If the 'possible bloat' doesn't vanish, it ISN'T bloat but is legitimate. This LoversImmoralSisters.esp seems to have an error in a function call. However, the script with the error MAY not be in use, in which case it's just a warning. Pity the modder left it in that case. If it is in use, it's broken.

Symon Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 A common myth (grin), properly patched Oblivion is very stable. The game IS however, VERY sensitive to load order. Sadly, there are a lot of plugins that make it unstable. From empirical experience, Nessa and I suspect that LoversPK itself is prone to instability, which is unfortunate.

Symon Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 It won't effect stability IF it isn't actually used. An esp can contain 'junk' that isn't used. Even Oblivion.esm has unused scripts. If it is used, it MAY affect stability. Some script errors are ignored by the engine, other are more fatal. Your second point is actually quite a serious error. I'd not be surprised if THAT caused a crash or two. The answer is to install LoversSlaveTrader or remove LoversSTVictims. Leaving it alone is a very bad idea.
gregathit Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 If you do install lovers slave trader then make sure it is just above lovers victims in your load order. NOTE: lovers victims is very old and you will need to find version 0.5 or older of lovers slave trader (a version that old is not on this site) for it to work with lovers victims. I do not think the current version of slave trader (1.0) will work with it. The current version of lovers victims has been retitled to "Bravil Underground".

The test update should be bloat free, so please let me know if you get any further break armor related save bloat. Alternately, you can use Wrye bash's clean save function.
