Male sim with a menstrual cycle (Configuration file and Last Exception file included)

Wicked Whims Version: v145f
Sims 4 Version: 1.56.52.1020

EDIT: I've actually gone into CAS with Full Edit mode to check this particular male sim out and he was mistakenly marked to be able to get pregnant. I believe I may have found the reason why he has a menstrual cycle. Now my question is...is there any way to turn this off for specific sims, or has it not been implemented yet?

I'm not 100% sure how this happened to be honest, but I had updated to the latest Wicked Whims after not playing the game for a while, along with updating my other mods that typically need one after a new patch. After getting into game, I started a new file, so I had to set Wicked Whims back up again since I didn't export my configuration file from my other save.

I didn't remember what I'd had my Gender Recognition Type set to, but in the past I had had it set on 'Sim Specific Gender Recognition', so I decided to just go with that until I decided otherwise.

After a bit of playing, I was informed that one of the two males in my household would be experiencing his period soon and that I should get supplies for him. Of course, I'm confused as hell and go and check my settings, before deciding to set his Gender Recognition to Male (I hadn't actually set it up yet) to see if that would cancel things out; I also did the same for the other sim in the household. A few sim days later however, the sim began menstruation.

I then decided to change the Recognition back to the default that Wicked Whims is set to and reset the sim, thinking that maybe this would cancel it out. No dice. A save and restart didn't change anything either, nor did a full reset of my settings, then a restart following that.

I don't even know if changing the Gender Recognition Type is what triggered it to be honest, but this sim was the only that I didn't immediately assign a Gender Recognition to. Any ideas on what I can do?

And for future reference, in case I *did* want male sims to be able to experience menstruation, how the heck did I manage this? Or is this just a bug with the new version?

NPCC Mod should be removed and the other one above you need to find and remove.

In MCCC you need to go into the Tuner Menu and disable auto-flirting as there is a bug still happening.

Best bet is to just try with WW, Basemental, and MCCC only.

Other tuning mods cause too many problems, Nisa's WP is OK if it's kept up to date.

Makeup, Hairs, Nails, Clothing, etc. are normally OK to leave alone.

The game itself could be generating bi, or gay/lesbian sims but most likely it's a setting in WW.

Gender setting I use is the middle one, can't remember what it's called but it's just based off CAS genders anyway.

Having to set each sims gender would be a crazy mess for me to keep track of.

Resetting WW is probably best but if it already changed some other random sims gender settings they may not get reverted back to normal IDK.

Sometimes it's better not to make a game save if things go south.

And you can always just move the WW Saves to your desktop and next load will create a new one with defaults.

Never messed with turning on the menstrual as I have all those turned off in WW settings.

You may have some other mods or other older WW settings lurking from before when you played TS4.

I going to say this, because EA, made it where all Sims can become pregnant weather female or male. I am sure that is why the mod has all sims with a pre-set cycle. so the Sim in question was checked to become pregnant?...so the Sim will have a period. Since you went into CAS and changed it? than it should fix that Sim from actually have a period but won't ever get rid of Cycle because all Sims have a pre-set one that is set to happen or not happen base on weather the Sim is able to become pregnant. I hope I made sense.

Mm, I think that makes sense. I'm hoping I did get rid of the cycle by changing it, but we'll have to see!

This did help! I've been getting those last exception errors for months and not knowing why! It's amazing that MCCC itself had an error in it and I didn't notice! I haven't played far enough to note if the sim has had another cycle or not, but I will report back if he does.

Well it's more that likely another mod is conflicting with MCCC because MCCC will also report errors just like WW does.

(Main thing is to disable the auto flirting option in the Tuner Menu).

I'd suspect the other one called NPCC might be conflicting, (I've seen it and thought about using it but decided not to).

(Loading too many core/script mods is just asking for trouble IMO)

MCCC, or MC Command Center, is the one that I use, along with many others, as it's been around forever and always gets updated regularly.

Be careful of using the extra MCCC Woohoo module as it can do some strange things if you mess up the settings.
