dds. resize

well i am searching for a good program to resize DDS. textures

any suggestions??

Photoshop is good but in order to open dds files you will have to download a plugin From here------ (either trial or you need to buy it) ,

or if you cant get photoshop try Gimp it too requires a plugin from here -----(free)

Last but not least Paint.net which already has dds support.-----(free)

if all you want to do is resize to improve performance and such

use minimum profile, then check resize down and select the size you want

 

if you use it i recommend moving the textures you want away from data, resizing, then moving them back as you dont want to go doing all the textures at once plus some textures, like player textures can look bad if compressed or resized down

is for increase texture size (the unreal engine 2 has to low quality texture)

yes PS work but not has all resizes method that i like, anyway it still the best choice

I use paint-net for resizing a texture file size then overwrite it so that it stays that size with no problem at all.
