Senick Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Whenever transparent clothing is equipped to my character, most of the time everything works fine, but from certain angles all the textures underneath the clothing disappear. Has anyone encountered this or know of a fix? I thought it might be ENB but I completely removed that and it still happens. Has anyone encountered this and is it fixable? thanks!

Have encountered repeatedly.... I think it's a bi-product of how the engine works with the transparency effects. I haven't really looked into resolving it though - but I do notice it a lot more now that I'm using Bathing in Skyrim. When standing in water waist deep, the actor's overlays will be shown on the portion outside of the water, but the overlays under the water will not show, only the clean skin. This seems to be the case for SlaveTats and dirt applied via the Bathing in Skyrim mod - both of which use the NiOverride functions to apply the overlays. Unsure if racemenu overlays (old way) will result in the same behavior as I haven't tried any of those mods with this specific "issue". If I position the camera beneath the water line, the effect is reversed... the body parts below the water line will show the overlays, whereas the part outside the water will be clean. Not totally an issue from a functionality standpoint, but it is a rather comical 'bug' in the overlay effects. Here is a screen shot of how the water trick looks: This is a transparent hobble skirt from Devious Devious mods - same thing you're seeing. At certain angles (this one and straight on the player) the overlays beneath disappear. In all cases, the portion of the skirt below the water line isn't visible. I'll have a look at some settings. I disabled my ENB as well and the result was the same.
lindazana Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Looking for a fix for this myself, as i love making glowy body markings, but doing so means it looks horrible with any transparent-layer clothing.
