Hi! My question probably sounds stupid but how does one get into a fight over a figurine? I feel like a tried everything.

See spoiler.

Spoiler

STEP-BY-STEP

  1. Make a trade that's really bad for your trading partner. Like, give a common figurine for a rare one.
  2. When the other sim gets angry and mentions that they got ripped off, escalate the situation further by choosing the confrontational 😠 dialog option. (I think it's the middle one, can't remember from the top of my head.)
  3. At this point a fight may or may not happen, some most sims just chicken out and leave in shame, grumbling... so it might take a few attempts.
  4. Win the fight (duh) - like it is with normal fights, the fitter sim has a better chance to win.

Are Cinemini figures not supposed to save with rooms to my library? Trying to move avery large collection to another house and dragging one at a time to sims inventory is really tedious.

Hmmm... I never really tested for that, ever, but you're right, the figs do not save with the lots/rooms to the library. They show on the screenshots, when the lot is saved, but when loaded back they are not there. TBH, I dunno why, but it's probably down to the special category flags I've used to tag them, so they can not be cheated through the BuildBuy menu. I will investigate this further, and will try to find some sort of solution if possible.

UPDATE:
Okay, done some 'vestigating, and yep, looks like it's the object category flags' fault alright, as suspected.

Good news: seems like it's a fixable issue.

Bad news (for me): Have to be done by manually updating each figurine's packages one-by-one, so it's gonna take me forever to do so.

Thank you for looking into it so quickly. I appreciate the work you do.

Is there a reason these videos won't work in my game? Legacy Origin with WW. Base game currently.

Just ran a test out of curiosity with base game only (+my mods & WW) and everything works fine.

As you've provided next to no information - apart from this little blurb - I have no idea what your particular problem might be.

All I can recommend is double check that you've installed the mod(s) correctly, and you've also enabled their usage in-game.

Thank you. I worked it out. I moved it to the wrong folder (I don't know what I"ve done every other time I've used these, because it wasn't that). Thank you so much for replying so fast, I love them.

@Robbsi I'm pretty sure this is a false positive marking CE as the culprit.

Quote

"The listed script mod failed to load and should be removed or updated. Failure: 'init' (init) name 'Basebkwfn' is not defined (NameError: name 'Basebkwfn' is not defined)"

My mod have no defined name of "Basebkwfn" in it, so based on the error in the report and your mod list, I think it actually belongs to one of the Basemental mods you have installed.... btw, you should really sort out your mods folder and update the ones that are needed... for example, 3 out of my 4 mods you have installed are outdated, some are dangerously so!

I didn't check all your mods, as you have a lot, but I assume mine are not the only ones that are outdated as well!

Thanks. I think you are right. But I am a little bit lazy, so I play as long as it works.

Nope.... I give up.... I tried over a dozen times with different SIMs, but the fight reaction never triggered. It's a shame. My trading karma dropped from +150 to nearly -120 in the process. The aggressive provocation option appeared almost every time, but the NPC never reacted with a fight. With that karma level, it's impossible for me to keep trading; the action gets rejected immediately.

I dunno what to say to this... I tested it, and got a fight on my 3rd try, so you must've had some really unlucky random roll streak... BUT!... to avoid this kind of outliers in the future, in the latest framework update (7.10.1) I've increased the brawl likelihood from a 1-in-9 up to a 1-in-5 + also implemented a pity timer for this, so now - worst case - every 4th try on antagonizing the other sim should always escalate into a fight (also increased the likelihood for a fight if the sim is in an Angry or Stressed mood).

Also added a Karma forgiveness system that will reduce negative Karma over time:

  • -100 karma or below -> +10 gain per day
  • between -100 and -50 karma -> +5 gain per day
  • between -50 and -25 karma -> +1 gain per day

This is not automatically applied to sims though, so to first trigger it, you must initiate a trade with another sim (no prob if the interaction fails, or your sim gets rejected, it doesn't matter, the karma forgiveness buff will be active on that sim from that point)

Thanks a lot for the reply. I'll update it right away and give it another try. The mod is really entertaining—congratulations. You bring the game to life with these details. I'm not sure if it's visible in the images, but the "fight" one is the only one I'm missing from the collection.

Oh, cool, you even got the 3 "hidden ones" as well (Grim Reaper, Wood Nymph, Girl in the Shaft)... Well done! 👏
Just out of curiosity - as those 3 are hidden behind "solving riddles" - did you manage to find out how to get them by yourself, or is there a guide/walkthrough out there that I'm not aware of?

Not any guide at all.  The Grim Reaper figurine was easy. When I saw the image, I quickly guessed that the only Sim in the game who could be associated with it was the Grim Reaper. Then I found the one for Oasis Springs; the mention of the cave, the darkness, and so on, reminded me of the Forgotten Grotto. It was just a matter of going to check it out. As for the other one—judging by the branches and leaves—I knew it was at the other hidden lot in Willow Creek. It was fun.

Cool.

I always find it hard to judge how far should I push a secret/riddle, without ending up being too obscure - So I'm happy that you managed to find them on your own... that means they are actually solvable if someone knows their way around the sim worlds, and takes a bit of time to think about it. 😄

Finally!! I had to tweak a few things—starting with a mistake on my part: I had MCCC set to disable autonomy for mean interactions. On the other hand, the Sylvan Glade turned out to be the perfect spot to always trade with the same Sim. Finally, I had to get both of them into a "Very Angry" state and ensure they had an "Enemies" relationship... but after several attempts, it worked.

Meanwhile, in Sylvan Glade, reconciliation talks are getting underway... there had been a lot of fighting... and the glade is the best place to work out relationship issues. =)))

**** Thanks for the mod. It was really fun completing the collection. Now I'm going to start downloading a few more from your site just for decoration. *****
