megamantaray Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 So I've been getting this issue with some of the SoS floatin' a bit off the owner's body. It doesn't happen with all of them but a few of Bad Dog's hoodies seem to. There any remedy to this? Is it XPMSE related? Should I load SoS/SoS addons after XPMSE? I had a similar issue with animals causing crashes because I didn't let AnimalSoS overwrite creature skeletons by XPMSE. I'm on MO so I could do some easy testing and see if changing my load order would fix the floating peen issue but I'm wondering if that would cause other problems and I don't have a lot of time on my hands this week so I figured I'd defer to the forum.
srayesmanll Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 In the left pane of MO, I would have them in this order: SOS various SOS mods (BadDogs, etc) XPMSE MoreNastyCritters/AnimalSOS Personally I haven't used Animal SOS, but the same creature skeleton issue is in MNC. What I do is copy the creature skeletons from MNC into their own "mod" (not really a mod, just a zipped folder contains the skeletons with the proper folder paths), then place that "mod" after XPMSE in the left pane. So my order is: SOS various SOS mods (BadDogs, etc) MNC XPMSE CreatureSkeletons (again, a folder just containing the creature skeletons from MNC in the proper folder structure) The basic thing to remember is that XPMSE should ALWAYS overwrite SOS (whether manually installing or using the priority in the left pane of MO), installing the creature skeletons (now that authors are mucking around with the animal skeletons) after XPMSE.

So like this? Spoiler I have Animated Parasites further below and that tries to change female skeletons, which I just noticed. What should I do with that? It doesn't seem to change anything on my character though, my quivers and weapons work normally at least. And I have a schlong on her that functions properly, this problem only happens with males and I can't test right now but it might be specific Schlongs from Bad Dog Hoodies.
srayesmanll Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Not familiar with Animated Parasites mod, but frankly anything that changes the humanoid skeleton should be placed before XPMSE (lower priority) in the left pane (again, XPMSE should overwrite all humanoid skeletons). However, again I am not familiar with Animated Parasites mod so they may have specific rules with regards to XPMSE so you need to check that mod's description. As for the order you posted, that seems all correct. Since you don't show the actual Priority column in the image, I can't tell if they are actually sorted by the priority, so make sure to show the Priority column (right-click in the header and check "Priority") and then make sure that the left pane is sorted by Priority, that way you can verify the order. Another thing I do is place XPMSE at the very highest of priority (then the creature skeletons). When sorting by priority, this puts XPMSE at the bottom of the list and therefore nothing but the creature skeletons should overwrite it.

Yeah I always have it sorted by Priority unless I'm looking for something by name, didn't think to stretch the screengrab out that far, my bad. Once I'm freed up I'll try this all out and see what's up in-game. Thanks!
megamantaray Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 That didn't help. Hmmm~ It seems to only be happening with the Bad Dog Hoodies schlongs and not with any others. And it only happens on males as far as I can tell, the females are fine.
megamantaray Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 Letting SOS overwrite XPMSE fixed the peens and since it's not causing any issues so far I think I'm gonna keep it that way. Thanks for the help anyway @srayesmanll Skyrim is a creature of chaos. I'm sure this'll come back to bite me in the ass soon.
