Download the mod....extract/unzip the file....copy to the mods folder.....documents/ea/the sims 4/mods.....make sure allow script mods and cc is enabled....

The Sims 4 mods don't work

The Sims 4 Mods did not work even though they were still in the "Mods" folder. When I installed them again, they still didn't work. . What should I do to make fashion come back?

Like Procian said, make sure you've enabled CCs, and scripts mods in game settings.

It's been outlined above, but you have to enable custom content in your Sims 4 game in order to use mods.

 

You'll find the checkbox, as well as other settings, in the Options Menu and under Game Options. The very last tab, Other. has the checkbox for enabling custom content and mods. Make sure this is checked, as well as the box for "Script Mods Allowed" and exit the game and relaunch. Your mods should be working, and a window should pop up once you reach the main menu listing your mods.
