Hello there, I played The Sims 3 for long time and I started to add mods to the game, but I would like to ask wich adult and non-adult mods you can recomand, if they can add something to the gameplay, better (it sometimes the game feel a bit off)

With the shear amount of custom content available for the Sims 3 it's probably better if you make a list of sorts, which would give you a starting point for the type of game play which interests you.

I myself am running a 10 year old program on an oculus ready system with SSD's for both the operating system and file storage. It's amazing that I need a system like this to properly run the Sims 3, but it's nice to see it operate as intended... with the help of a lot of stabilizing programs like Nraas Master Controller and Overwatch.

Since I have all expansions/no stuff packs installed, sometimes my sims have so many options I've had to download some tuning mods to keep them from doing too many things which really benefit the player more than an uncontrolled character.

Making a list will help you explore your options through internet searches, and help make sure the custom content you want is compatible with the game version you decide to run as well. It's a daunting task, but short of uploading my own sims 3 files which approaches 100GB, My only real recommendation is to use .package files when available, since removal is fast and easy compared to using the launcher to install, and remove (quite a task).

After you've installed the core mods you will always want running, check for stability, and then continue to add what you like and check the game often. Somewhere along the way you find a balance which your system won't choke on or take forever to load.
