thisneverendingstory Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 I did my update thing as I've done many times, but in game, all that's available is settings. My WW folder also shows that zero animations are installed when I have, uh, a lot. I feel like I'm missing something simple, but I can't think of what it is.

For the animations you have to make a separate folder. The WW folder must contain only the TURBODRIVER files See attached screens Spoiler

I can't tell you this, however I adopt this system: 1) When I need to update WW, I remove the old WW folder and the animation folder. 2) Update WW by installing the new version. 3) I reinsert the animation, addons and skin folder in the mods 4) Update any mods to be updated. 5) At the start of the game I verify that the TURBODRIVERS are active. Once in play, I check if WW (sometimes it happens) needs to be reconfigured.

I don't bother with #1 or #3 unless I'm having some serious problems, which is very rare. Since I only need to update WW, Basemental, and MCCC, it's not much trouble. And... I tend to wait several days before doing any game and mods patches, until all the dust has settled. Gives all the modders a chance to catch up and I can read about possible problems, conflicts, or new bug fixes. So far WW has always changed some of my settings back to the defaults but it's been less and less on the most recent updates it seems.
