cthulhu worship Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Not sure if anyone has had this issue or not. But when I wear modular armor, such as pants, or armlets, then wear a main body item (in this case, Wolf bikini top from the Bikini armor mod) the pants that are on my character disappear. In the inventory screen it still shows as the character wearing them, they just down show up on the character. When I remove the main body item, the pants return. Has anyone had this issue? if so, what was the fix for it?
Seijin8 Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Body slots and priority settings. You can modify the items to work right together (though they may start clipping at that point).
cthulhu worship Posted September 5, 2019 Author Posted September 5, 2019 how do you do that? Is there a mod?

There are 3 places to modify the body slots a piece of armor/clothing uses. Generally speaking, they should all match/agree with one another. In the Plugin: Armor Record Armor Addon In the NIF: On each mesh in the Nif, in the BSDismemberSkinInstance, Partitions subsection (this can be changed with NifSkope or recent versions of Outfit Studio) Ref: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Skyrim_bodyparts_number
cthulhu worship Posted September 5, 2019 Author Posted September 5, 2019 I checked, and all of the armor I am wearing is sitting in different slots.

Check all 3 places for the Wolf Bikini and whatever pants you are wearing: Plugin (both armor record and armor addon) and NIF (all mesh layers). Alternatively, if using Schlongs of Skyrim... if the pants are using Slot 52 (which is the SOS default slot) then they will be unequipped when you wear something in slot 32 (which covers the body). You can modify the pants to not use slot 52, and use something else if that is the case.
