FoxLotus Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Since there has been an updated fix to .net script framework provided by ArranzCNL. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7158471-net-script-framework/page-76#entry71933928 Which provides a working IFPV for SE versions 1.5.73 and 1.5.80. Although you have to use the fomod from his IFPV to override the default IFPV files. Does anyone have a working IFPVconfig.txt that will work well with sexlabs? Or someone capable of getting the IFPV - sexlab special configuration to work for it?
nemocdt Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 yep i'm running it with the LE sexlab config you can DL from LL. Just replace the config in the \mods\.Net Script Framework\NetScriptFramework\Plugins folder It definitely does not work as well as LE yet but i'm sticking with it. this page say's it's not compatible with SE but it works, both config's are not perfect yet. 1st person Mounted spell casting via Smart Cast is epic. even clunky Ipfv is better than jop for sexlab.

I don't see how this is possible to work when the config file format is 100% different between the SE/LE versions... The author rewrote the plugin from scratch. It's probably defaulting to the default IFPV options if it can't find them in the config. Lol. So yes, my config file won't work with SE simply because it won't load my config file in SE. lol.

I have gotten it to work in general, but some stuff is just really odd, like the camera is just completely in a different place than you would expect, LOL.

There may be a couple options that are the same but the overall formatting is entirely different. He completely removed profiles in the configuration. It's now just global settings and the configuration is no longer read in order like code, but each setting is handled separately. 7 hours ago, twitterbutter said: I enjoyed your config file in LE. I have been but all first person plugins in SE are still unusable. They're all in alpha status still, so there isn't much I can do to address bugs until they get stable enough, but they haven't really released any updates lately. Hopefully that changes soon though.

Redflyingmonkey Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 I got IFPV running in a moderately Oldrim fashion on my rim. I simply put all clipping to 0.0001 (fucks up my LODs in first person, it's a disco...) Also removed that angle restriction, put the BaseOffsetY a bit to the back. I tried to disable the feature that erases the head in first person (so I could look at my nose just like in Oldrim), but I think that's broken, nothing I did worked. I do not recommend changing settings too much in Newrim, somehow camera angles get baked in the save file if you mess up with them and cause all sorts of problems. You should change values, exit the game without saving, and keep trying until you find one that's correct (but don't keep playing on a savefile with non satisfactory IFPV values and change them later on multiple times, seriously I've seen some shit.)
BlondieMohawk Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 Could you please share the config values and names that you've changed? I'm not sure which variables to change, when you say all clipping.
FoxLotus Posted May 2, 2020 Author Posted May 2, 2020 I've managed to get a workable IFPV config that works okay with SL, but the camera still doesn't position proper for lets say, laying down, camera still tilted to an up down position, rather than sideways (like the SL IFPV, an oldrim IFPV did) perhaps someone can remedy that by stating if any of the lines in this version tackles that. One thing I noticed with the "clipping" issues, if you change your FOV (with console) to something close an then back to whatever original setting you prefer (mines 100) the clipping will reduce dramatically, but you need to manually reset that every so often. Especially if you move from 3rd person cam to 1st person a lot. IFPV.config.txt

IFPV.config.txt 78.06 kB · 12 downloads I have this problem where My body is almost invisible until I sit on a bench or basically do an animation like using forge and such. After that I can totally see my body until I go to third person and come back and then its all over again. Anyone having the same problem?
FoxLotus Posted May 17, 2020 Author Posted May 17, 2020 I think it's a common bug. When it happens, it usually happens for me if the camera hasn't properly transitioned from 3rd to 1st person. An yes reversing from 1st to 3rd an back usually clears it.
