Dread Knight Armor

Hi guys,

 

Looking through Oblivion mods I found this armor that belongs to the dread weapon set (it is already available), but the armor per se hasn't been ported yet.

I know that up to this point there are armors that look a lot better (there's one from the Dark Messiah set of armors that is pretty similar), but still it would be nice to have the whole matching set for Skyrim.

Agreed, Jojjo's Dread and Drake Knight armours were the only armours I used in Oblivion.

Regarding the Lich King's Armor and Frostmourne, I gotta say it's one of jojjo's best jobs by far, but it was the only one he ported for Skyrim of his creations. The idea is to be able to have this one also

The Drake Knight is another one I was looking forward to ask for, but I forgot about it

It's another really good piece of work from jojjo. It would be really good to have it too.

I think I have seen a dread knight armor before I know I had a dread knight armor before pretty sure I also have had the the dread knight sword as well. I think it was part of the hero armor set not sure hard to remember.

I had to use Sovereign Armor from M&M Dark Messiah as a replacer for this as there's none like this one

Should anyone want to see it, there is someone on youtube who is doing a series of videos showing how to import Oblivion armors into Skyrim. He also does a bunch of other modding related stuff (specificly 3dsmax) for those who need the little extra help getting started, so it is worth looking around his channel.

I'm working on importing the Dread Knight Armor into my Dark Tower mod, the female version is completed, this will be release in the upcomming V2 of my mod !

And all that with the permissions of my mate Jo... I've updated the post on my mod page on Nexus, keep an eye open there for the latest details...

Just had a chat with Jo, he's happy that i imported this one, he doesn;t have time anymore for modding / Now is to see who's going to import The DRAKE knight.... (as i don't think i'll be importing this one....)
