Multiple animations not working

Hi everyone,

 

I asked this elsewhere but apparently it was the wrong place, so hopefully this is more successful.

 

I have hundreds of animations currently downloaded but only a small fraction shows up. As an example, none of the Atrois animations come up (this was just in the A's which is why I noticed it first, I'm pretty sure there are hundreds more than aren't coming up) even though objects like the glory hole do come up in Buy mode- I just can't do anything with them. All the animations are checked off in the Settings menu. I tried re-installing the game, re-downloading the animations, etc. Are some not compatible with one another? Is there something really obvious I'm doing wrong?

Oh, in case it matters, I have a Mac. Is that the problem?

From what I understand about Mac's, which is nada, the load order of your mods is opposite from PC's.

 

You may have to play around with renaming your folders for WW + Animations.

 

Whatever order they are in now, maybe swap things around.

 

Or try installing all your Animations in the same folder with Wicked.

It's weird though. I figured the issue was one of naming or whatever but if I look at the in-game WickedWhims settings menu, the animations I'm looking for pop up. So for example, for Atrois- I have 200+ animations on there, all of which are toggled on. So you'd think if the issue was that they weren't identified, they wouldn't pop up at all. It's just that when I actually want to play them, they don't come up as options.

 

Any other thoughts? Part of my frustration is that I actually paid for some of these, so it would be nice if they worked...

Well, if you can see those animations listed in the WW 'disable animations' area then they should be loading and working then.

But I do notice when autonomous sex happens a few of the animations seem to play way more than others, like favorites or something.

Every now and then I see a new animation that I haven't seen before after playing TS4/WW for 9 months now.

 

Can't think of anything else except for trying to re-download those that aren't working, and/or try the free version from here to test it out.

I have the same problem (I'm also on Mac). I hope someone can find a solution to this.

So I seem to have fixed this problem.

This is what I did:

In the saves folder I deleted the Wicked Perversions and Wicked Whims folders. 

I then moved the mods folder to the desktop and started a new game. I saved the game and did a repair.

I then put all my mods back except Turbodrivers mods and settings into the newly created mods folder (do not put the old 'Resource.cfg' in).

From there I downloaded  Wicked Whims again and put into the mods folder. I went back to the newly formed game I had saved and heaps more animations showed up.

The only downside is I will have lost my saved settings for ww and wicked perversions but it's not too much of a hassle to reset them again.

I also renamed the folder I had the animations in from R18 to Animations (have no idea if this helped) and removed creators animations I never use.
