Rakitash Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Good afternoon, I recently got SSE and I'm modding it, I did all my nexus mods first and loaded in and played a bit with no issues or conflicts, but once I added the LL mods I started to CTD after the Bethesda logo, which eventually turned out to be Slaverun so I uninstalled that, and now I'm having a CTD after the loading screen (though occasionally it will let me load but then my characters have no Idles, which FNIS wasn't able to fix for some reason, before it went back to CTD after loading). I'm used to Oldrim where the majority of my CTD issues had to do with memory allocation or mild conflicts that were easily found and fixed, so I'm perplexed by this. I can't seem to find any hard conflicts based on load order, and I've been told that papyris logs aren't crash logs and therefore would do me no good, so I won't post those, unless someone needs to see them here. If I can get some help with conflicts I may not know about or LOOT doesn't pick up, please let me know. If you have LE mods that can cause this issue. run LOOT and make certain that you are not missing a master file (presumably from an LL mod) and run FNIS and check that you have not exceeded the animations limit. It wouldn't appear so based on your load order but you never know. If you intend to include that information in a post please copy everything FNIS generates (this usually starts with a description of your skeleton and ends with the number of animations that you've successfully loaded. I was very careful in making sure that all of the mods were SE, it's certainly possible I may have downloaded an LE version, but I have about a 90% certainty that I didn't, I will be sure to go through and check it over again, though. There are no conflicts that LOOT is pointing out to me. I ran FNIS again and I don't see any errors. I am not about to tell you where to cut back, that has to be your priority. Mine was simply to help you find out where your problem was - and there it is. If you want to know more about the limit or how I came to the conclusion you can look at my blog dealing with CTDs. While it is entitled CTDs in LE the FNIS applies in exactly the same manner for SE. I have half as many animation mods yet 3 times more animations as I did in my LE install, so I wasn't aware that there would be a cap like that that would cause such instability, I'm going to reinstall some animation mods and exclude animations in the ones that give me the option and see if I can get those numbers down, then I'll see if that fixes my issue. Thank you. You're welcome. As I am fond of saying, I'll take any gratitude that you think I've earned in likes. That's the green thumbs up icon found in the bottom right hand corner of any post. It is grayed out until you hover over it and click it. By the way, you can also like mods here on LL. So, if there is a mod that you particularly like, one that you might want to recommend or if you just want to thank a mod author for his/her work like their mod. Go back to the page where you downloaded it (where the green Download button is located). Scroll to the bottom of the post and click the like icon. It's usually easier to find than the one in the posts since others have probably already liked it and there is a green counter next to it.
