Far Harbor - CoA Claim Settlements?

So I have a character that has gone through FH being loyal to the CoA, and so far as to turn the harbor into Ruins. What seems impossible without a mod, is using any of the FH settlements under these circumstances, not having done the quests to unlock them. Surely I get the idea that, you choose to not do something, why get the rewards? That makes sense when it is some weapon or other item that is made inaccessible based on player choice. But a settlement that only the fog is preventing me from using? Even if this is a bit of a flimsy reason to require the quests to unlock them, though I can see sense in it. While the radiation is a problem normally, but this character has the perks to heal from radiation, and the fog isn't that bad on it, I'm not that concerned about it being as is.

The overall point would be, is there a mod that allows this sort of outcome for Far Harbor's MQ, and you can claim the islands settlements? Hopefully one that is able to be added to an ongoing playthrough without issues, as well.

But where do you get the fog dispensers then? And what settler would want to settle in a CoA settlement?

Having said that, you could walk up to the workbench, open the console, click on the workbench and type 'setownership'.

Not sure but that might work!

In this specific case, I mentioned it wasn't important to the character. Plus, it would be less to have to build around - or have the blue effect showing through any walls near the condensers.

Ideally, Bethesda could have used this kind of outcome for the Children to expand, more like you'd speak to a NPC in the Nucleus, and while most might remain there, others might want some different surroundings. Certainly I'd have the fog's radiation get a bit worse(getting into +5 or +10 point values instead of just +1 or less) if the player does this, though going this route should mean the player has the perks to deal with it - not that going this route should require it.

As far as it goes currently though, I'm not sure I'd set up a recruitment tower at all. I also set up the Coastal Cottage and Kingsport Lighthouse previously, with a mod for a few CoA objects like those in the Nucleus(though most of them require joining the CoA in FH to use).

Seems that doesn't work. Still get the same message.

You could try this:

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/164594-fallout-4/answers/466805-command-to-get-settlements-allied

Travel to the settlement and face the workshop.
Open the console by hitting ~.
Click on workshop to select it.
Type in the following line:

setpv OwnedByPlayer True

Hit enter, close the console.
Leave the settlement (like fast travel to a close location) and come back.
