Anusha Busha Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Hello Everyone. I have been having an issue with this certain asset to my Oblivion game for a VERY long time. I have no exact clue on what causes this issue, but I would like to have some help and everyone's opinion on the subject. When I increase the Complexion on my Game, the face textures start to have a bluish undertone! But the Body texture remains Ok. It is a very annoying thing to come across when making a new character, that's why I have instead used "Beast" races. It really annoys me because I see other talented people that have NO sort of issue with faces on their characters, their characters faces look so smooth and so clean! I do not understand why this happens to my game but I know I'm not alone. However, I did find out that the cause of the bluish undertone is either the .egm or .egt files, but I do not know how edit those files, nor do I know what to use! Like I said, it is a very annoying thing to look at when in character creation and all I want to do is make it stop. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
DogOnPorch Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Well, I can see that you have some mods going-on in the face department. Does this happen if you choose one of the standard races? I had a similar issue getting Ave's Redguard females looking right...only they turned green at first. I had to adjust r-g-b colour levels individually to remove the green. Perhaps the same trick here...just blue.
movomo Posted July 31, 2019 Posted July 31, 2019 Face complextion overlays are stored in your head's associated .egt file. Most race mods don't care because most people will decrease the complexion bar rather than increasing it. From the look of it, your egt is either vanilla or more or less vanilla. My recommendation is grab a mod called Seamless Heads from Nexus, grab one of the vanilla-compatible egts there and replace your race's egt file. If your race comes with age texture files, you may delete them.
