Not saying that consoles doesn't have a place as entertainment. But please leave the console games to be for arcade games for children and the party and sport games such as disc golf and etc for adults. As it is now every other genre of games are pretty much done for. Look at skyrim default UI as an example. Its rubbish and it wouldn't have been if Skyrim was PC only. I played quake alot and yes, this vid is unfortunately true I was to post this on youtube but google acting up and wont let me login with my old account...

Also, while I'm not a fan of FPS, I will say that my focus shifted dramatically away from console gaming once I realized the direction gaming has taken. I used to be a console fangirl, and thought that Sony was the best of the best. Ever since moving to the PC, my gaming has improved dramatically, and I wonder what took me so long to switch. That, and I can do a lot more with a computer than I can with a console.
