Textures work on npc and default race, if you have custom race, you need transfer textures from Skyrim\Data\Textures\Actors\Character\female to your custom race folder

If you want change body, you need bodyslide and(optional) uunp morphs for racemenu

And meshes from Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets too

There are a lot of ENBs on Nexus, you should try out what you like the most. This, for example, is a NO GO for me, to colorful!
