xshockx Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Hi everyone, today I started to try to converting some armors form skyrim to another body. I followed this tutorial: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Converting_an_armour_to_another_body_for_Skyrim Everytime i import a .nif to blender I got this error: AttributeError: type object "NifFormat" has no attribute "CStreamableAssetData" I would be glad if someone could help me to fix this. Sorry if this is a noob question but since I am a noob dont beat me ;D I did google already but didnt find anything helpful. And please excuse my bad english I am still learning it.
gerra6 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I don't know much about Skyrim imports specifically, but the text of that error implies that your niftools install is incomplete. Which versions of Niftools and Blender are you using? Also, do you get that error only when importing Skyrim nifs, or do you also get it when you import other meshes as well?
xshockx Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 I use the versions recommanded here: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Installation_of_Blender I got that error for every .nif i want to import.
gregathit Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I use the versions recommanded here: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Installation_of_Blender I got that error for every .nif i want to import. That package is 2 years old (if you are going to the nexus link) so it won't work for you. Use this one: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/42755 And follow this tutorial: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15690
