Hi

Fairly new to pc modding and I installed a few last night seemingly without issue plus some more earlier today and game was loading fine. From what I can deduce as the point it seems to have stopped loading is when I tried to launch Skyrim from the Nexus Mod Manager.

Steam stepped in and did some initial load up stuff for some reason and since then neither the Skyrim shortcut (Only loads the little menu screen to load the game) or the SKSE button work to load the game.

The cursor shows loading for a few seconds and then stops.

Any ideas on how to fix or what I've done wrong?

Thanks!

There are two common causes for this. The first is missing masters. This problem should show up as mods in red (as opposed to black) on your mod list in NMM. You can double check by running LOOT.

The other common cause is too many animations. To check that run FNIS and paste what it generates here. This normally begins with a description of your skeleton and ends with the number of animations that you successfully loaded. Please load the entire thing.

Less likely is that you have loaded an LE (old Skyrim) mod for SE (Special Edition) or vice versa. It's worth double checking that.
