willowlemon Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Just updated and some of my male sims skin and penises have turned black. It is only happening with sims using base game skins, not cc skin. Any suggestions how to fix this?

Default penis model used by WickedWhims requires extended skin color textures (called skin tones) which are overridden by the mod itself. This is visible by the wrench icon placed on every skin color in CAS. Any other mod that overrides skin tones may conflict with WickedWhims if it doesn't extend the texture space. If the penis on a Sim is displayed as black or partially black, this means that you have conflicting or unsupported skin tones mod installed. Custom skin tones that don't support the extended texture space will cause issues as well.Search the words "skin” and “tone" in your 'Mods' folder to quickly find them.

I'm only having this problem when I DON'T use custom skin tones. And it only just started with the update. I haven't downloaded any new skin since then. And it's only on existing sims, not new sims I'm making in CAS. I can create a brand new Sim in CAS with the same exact skin as the Sim with the black skin and it works fine.

Thanks. Have you tried with JUST Wicked Whims? This may be another mod. Deleting the Wicked Whims saves folder may help, may wake up the game a little bit ?
GoonerGuy69 Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 I've been having a similar problem, only it's white around their genitals instead of black. I've tried deleting my LocalThumbCache, as well as removing every mod from my mods folder besides WickedWhims, including the Wicked Whims save folder, and settings folder, but the problem still persists. I also don't play with any custom skin mods, so I haven't got the slightest idea what could be causing this to happen, but it's annoying.

That's correct. There's also the WickedWhims default penis of course, but I don't think that can be removed. I did download the extra skin tones just to see if it would help at all, but I still had the white patches with the added skins, as well as the old, so I removed them.
procian Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Do you have a screenshot? you don't have any cmar stuff? or lunareclipse stuff? Was everthing ok till you updated your skins/skintones? Did you add any skins/skintones that overwrite the base game ones?

No lunareclipse, but I do have mods that add body details for female sims made by cmar in my mods folder, but nothing for male sims. Long story short about the penis model, it became incompatible for me when the body parts system was added last year so I took it out, and used the default WW penis for a while. Recently, I found out that the old penis model was on Loverslab on the WickedWhims download page, so I decided to give it a shot again. The penis shows up now, but there's always white around it. Here's a screenshot to show you what I'm talking about.
procian Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 I could be wrong but by the shape of the patch it looks like a female skin detail.....if you have sims4studio you could go into my cc and check if any female nude skin details have been flagged for male. Also you have futunari or penis for females?

Clutching at straws here.....does the white patch stay with all skin colours? as for the female thing you could try making a folder in mods and call it cc body or something and put your skin details,nude stuff in that.

I've tried about a dozen skin colors, all of them have the same problem. I originally thought that it could be something wrong with the TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_CAS_Old_Penis file itself, since removing all of the other mods didn't seem to fix the issue, but since you're using the same file without any issues then it has to be something wrong with either my version of the file, or my WickedWhims. Are you using the penis model you get from the Loverslab WickedWhims page? That's the one I'm using, but it was created on December 7th, 2018, so it crossed my mind that it could be outdated. I haven't been able to find that particular model anywhere else though, including the WickedWhims website. That's the only thing I've been able to narrow it down to.
procian Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Mine is dated 15/11/2018...……….the one on here is dated 08/07/2019 try with this one......failing that you could try a new default male skin. Also delete localthumbcache.pkg file whenever you add or delete cc or mods...

Yup, I'm using the cmar one. It definitely has to be that particular file then. Thanks for taking the time to help me out anyway. Looks like I'm out of luck unless it gets updated.
