New to modding, Defeat mod doesn't seem to work?

Whenever I try to use the mod both models just merge into one and stay there while audio plays, it's.... a bit unnerving. I looked around in the mod conifg and found that FNIS might not have been installed properly so I tried reinstalling it to no avail, any help is much appreciated :)

Here's a list of mods I installed using NMM incase I'm missing something required, or have incompatable mods, etc:

BodySlide and Outfit Studio, UIExtensions, SkyUI, ZazAnimationPack, SL Defeat, skse, sexlab tools, myslalpack, HDT physics extensions, netimmerse override, CBBE, SOS, slanimloader, sl framework, jcontainers, FNIS creature pack, FNIS behaviour

Do you have XPMSE , and are you generating FNIS?

Yah, I missed XPSME in my list. Not quite sure what you mean by generating FNIS

FNIS is a tool, are you running it before you launch the game? (If not, look in Data for the tools folder, then GenerateFNIS_for_Users folder and run the executable file. After that check every box that applies to your animations and skeletons and click Update FNIS Behavior)
