Male torso disappears in CAS in "tattoo section".

I have been having an issue lately with my male sims. If I click the section "tattoos" their upper body disappears. As soon as I exit it, it turns to normal and their torso and arms are there.

 

 

This is what I have tried: Firstly, I searched and removed anything that "replaced" the male torso. Went into my game, it was still the same.

The second time, I decided that I was going to test it out by removing my whickedwhims folder (this is the folder where I have everything from better butts, to better feet etc). It still did not solve my problem.

The last thing I tried, was creating a "test" sim, where I saved him to the library. I then exit my game and went into Tray importer and removed everything custom content he was wearing. This did not solve my problem either.

 

I am very confused at to why this is happening. I do not use any replacement overlays, only customs that you can put on them yourself in skin details. This issue happens whenever I use skin details or not.

And it only occurs when I want to add tattoos. It is driving me mad, as it takes a lot of time to try out a tattoo. Because right now I have to chose a random tattoo, exit the "tattoo section" and if I do not want that one, I will have to repeat the step until I find one I like. 

 

I would appreciate any help I could get. This site has learned me so much about mods and cc in the Sims 4 in general. I am running out of ideas on what to try out now. And it is annoying.  There must be something corrupted somewhere that is for sure, but it is just really hard to solve when it only happens when I enter the tattoo section. Other than that they have their torso and everything works great. 

 

I add a picture of my test sim so it is possible to see what it looks like. Of course, this picture was taken while I was in the tattoo section. Other than that, perhaps it is worth to mention that my sim is not wearing anything from the tattoo section here. This is just what it looks like when I enter it.

what default nude male top are you using? you need a default nude male top...………...Did you delete it accidently?

The one I was using was "[BB][Male]Top" It worked great last week, I have not deleted or added anything new since that. It started a few day ago. Could it be that that one is broken, and the fact that I deleted it is why they still look like that? If so, do you have anyone to recommend? Thank you for replying by the way.

If you still have the bb top it should still work.....what you using in the ww body selector for male top?

Also are you putting cc in the ww folder with the ww files? I wouldn't do that tbh.

 

You could try going into the game...selecting a male top in ww body selector(try the ww default top)...then saving and going back into cas.

This can happen if you did a CC batch fix, just re-download the [BB]MaleTop and it should work as normal again, or if you know how, get it from the batch fix backups.

These are the ones I have. I could probably be missing something, but I just find it weird that it used to work. You are probably right about that. I did not think about it. I will definitely move it away so there isn't so many "folders inside folders"! When it comes to the ww body selector, it was already set on default. I did however try out the other one, but the issue was the same

I have only done a batch fix once, and that is probably almost two years ago so I doubt it would be that. However, do you recommend to do a batch fix in general? I have heard a lot of mixed opinions on it whenever it is good or not!

It finally works! I re-downloaded everything from BB, and I made sure to move the map into its own folder inside "mods" instead of having it in the WW one. I have no idea if the issue was because of the file or the placement I put it in, but a huge thank you to both of you who helped me!

Not a good idea to put other stuff in the WW folder(even animations)....but well done for fixing the problem.
