LoveLeech Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 I just discovered that WW has a setting for height sliders! Being a short girl, I'm all about size difference so I would love to add a height slider to my game, but I can't seem to find any that are up-to-date. Which sliders do you guys use? Do any of them come without the weirdly bent knees for short sims?
2cool4u_1 Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 I use this one; http://modthesims.info/d/588159/height-slider.html I use the last file named "heightslidertoddlerfix". It uses the feet slider, so if you have different presets (like Zerbu's CAS presets) it will vary the height of NPCs. It does not have that weird glitch with knees, or arms not shortening. Also, it doesn't just change height, sims slowly shrink as they get shorter (not in a weird way) so that they don't look stubby. It hasn't been updated in ages, so the function for teens to automatically be shorter doesn't work, but the slider works fine and is WW compatible. 1
GECK.O Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 I'm using Luumia height slider. I think it's the best height slider so far, as it doesn't replace any slider slot and it also has perfect shape.
HarlotSpider Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 When you use that heightslider, if you make them too tall, the tongue will appear in their throat, be advised. Thanks for letting me know. I haven't used height sliders since shortly after that post. WW initially worked with that slider, but that was short lived. The slider I mentioned is no longer WW compatible.
HarlotSpider Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 It's odd, it only works on one teenage character in my CAS, when I attempt to do it with any brand new character it just doesn't work at all. Good luck sussing this out.
searaiderbc Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 I've used a heightslider for a long time and never saw any auto adjustments made to the sims thru WW, even with the slider support turned on. I just used the animation position tool to make the sims align. Took the slider out to see if it resolved the tongue being out of place, it didn't, so I'm going to put the slider back and just live with it. 1

The slider needs to be fixed using Cmar's tool on MTS, as I doubt the author is active anymore. I'm not going to since I don't use height sliders anymore.
HarlotSpider Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Yeah, that sucks. Thanks for the heads up, no pun intended.
