Proposition to mod authors

For most of the users it is sometimes hard to find the page of a mod here on LL. I myself got a few mods here that i'd like to add to my list but even after several days i simply cant find the page anymore (and thus not add it to the beginners guide).

My proposition is this:

Add a FOMOD to your mods. This will bring several advantages with it:

1. all get a working link to the page for easier access to updates and support.

2. it looks 'a bit' better during Installation.

3. addons can be easily integrated and choosen during the installation.

4. options are way easier to handle with a FOMOD.

5. patches for other mods can be integrated as well.

6. you only have to update and upload one file.

The drawbacks:

1. the size of the file will increase.

If you don't know how to make a FOMOD i'll be doing that for you. I've sent out three FOMOD to authors and @Yinkle is the first one who adopted it for his mod (thanks for that ?). Let me help you to make it easier for everyone.

Anyway, if you're interested leave a post with a link to your mod. And i'll be on it. Now it is up to you to accept my offer of assistance or not.

I Think that most mod authors, myself included, would prefer to make their own fomod installers. Kind and positive as your suggestion might be I don't think you will get much response.
